And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”  Revelation 5.10

 

Besides fulfilling the difficult process of salvation, Jesus came on a mission to make us complete servants for the Most High. He did not do any mistake, nor did He leave for later anything that should have been done. Nowadays, the saved must consider himself complete and perfect in Christ, being taught by the Master. Then, if he learns anything, he should soon put it into practice, for not only does it work, but it pleases and glorifies God.

He made us kings and priests, and this means that we have something that the lost do not have. Inside the recreated spirit, there is a perfect programming, as it existed in the seed of life that bore us. In it, there were the ingredients that formed who we are. In the same way, in the Word that touched our lives, there was all that was necessary for us to accomplish the Lord’s work. After all, we have been recreated in Christ.

Since we are kings, we have received the sovereign capacity over the destructive and cunning power of the devil. Even if he may use a strange weapon, we can destroy it in the Name of Jesus. What a good king must do for all was already inside of him when he is born. Thus, in a greater and more complete measure, the saved ones are already born with the capacity to do good, so they are made kings for the Lord.

The covering of power received in the baptism of the Holy Spirit is complete. Nothing lacks us, considering that we do not let fear or cowardice become lords of our lives. In fact, we should only have one Lord – the Word. The only person who can prevent you to be a servant of God is yourself; therefore, it is necessary to watch and pray so that the temptation might not deceive you, as it has done with many.

The variety of gifts that we have received to operate should not be left aside, or else we will reach nowhere. In order to use these talents, we must deepen our biblical understanding, which will not happen if we only receive teachings from seminars and pulpits, but meditating in the Lord’s commandments and fulfilling them. After all the Holy Spirit is our best Master.

Every saved person should honor God in what He says about them in the Word. Jesus made us capable of executing the same works that He fulfilled. Such ability is inside of us since the moment we have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and if we follow His directions, we will fulfill the divine plan in which we were included. Thus, we will be forever rewarded. Why should we lose this reward?

Reign in the extension of the “territory” given by the Lord, and then, you will see that this is the right way to glorify Him. Whoever assumes his position in Christ is fulfilled in life. Those who do not assume what the Creator prepares for them are deceived by evil, and when Judgment comes, they will be ashamed.
