08/03/2013 - HEARING BEFORE ANSWERING IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO

He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him.

Proverbs 18:13

He who pays no heed to the biblical counseling makes wrong decisions; however, when he abides by the divine instructions he obtains the expected answer. God’s guidance destroys every attack of the devil, so those who speak according to the words of the Lord are never defeated. No matter how malignant the evil onslaughts might be, the heavenly direction will solve the situation and the children of God will not be ashamed.

Foolish is he who thinks he knows everything and makes his decisions without hearing the Almighty when he is attacked by the evil one. The Word tells us to cast all our worries upon the Lord. Those who do so are enabled to undo any evil plan. However, the problem is that, in most cases, we do not even think twice before taking action and, therefore, we act foolishly.

The Bible assures us that those who call upon the Lord shall be answered (Jeremiah 33:3). So, in any situation, ask the Father’s direction and act accordingly. He who speaks based on what the All-knowing God teaches will not be defeated. Never forget that the Almighty is thorough and wise, therefore what He says should be used with confidence because it will always work.

The Most High ensures that the Word that comes out of His mouth will not return void (Isaiah 55:11) for He sends it forth with the necessary power to perform the work announced by Him. So never fear to accept what the Divine Word tells you because He would not send us His Word without the authority to destroy the operations of Satan’s doings. Once you take possession of it, be firm when rebuking evil because that is how God will give you deliverance.

There’s more: when you believe what the Father tells you, you have His best at your disposal. The Lord knows exactly what it takes to undo any work of the devil in your life. By acting according to the heavenly guidance, you are able to close the door that the devil uses to attack you.

God’s answer is your way of escape, so never answer before hearing what He has to say concerning any subject. He who speaks according to what he is taught – even if it doesn’t seem to work – must be firm. Even if Hell poses a greater opposition causing the answer to delay, do not despise the solution you have been given. There is no wisdom, nor any force or power that can defeat the Lord’s Word.

What would be your attitude towards your son or daughter if he/she experienced failure because they neglected your guidance? Certainly the Most High is not pleased with those who are indifferent to what He teaches but undoubtedly He rejoices with the wise children. May your life always be a joy to the Lord of Heaven and Earth, our Father!
