And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. Ephesians 1.19

There are blessings for which you have never thought to ask the Heavenly Father that have already been prepared for you. Not knowing what belongs to you prevents you from receiving many of God’s special blessings. Because of that, there are moments in which you find the Gospel to be rather stale. However, what other religion could give you a new birth (John 3.3) or free you from your problems? The Gospel is not a religion, but The Way that leads you to God.

I haven’t met a single person who has asked for and sought to understand the meaning of this exceeding greatness of the divine power. However, the Lord has declared that the greatness of His power is towards us, but because we lack understanding of the blessings that He is given us in His Word, we are often taken by trivial circumstances. They come from the devil and ought to be cast out, for they aim to kill, to steal, and to destroy (John 10.10a).

This promise is concerning those who believe. Believing is not something you can do for yourself, but it is done through the working of the mighty power of God, which is always at work in those who will inherit salvation. Therefore, there is no reason for you not to exercise your faith in the Almighty God or to claim that which the Word affirms is yours. His power is at work when a Christian believes what he is told.

Your salvation was no simple work, it was the best thing the Lord could do in favor of you since, through this salvation, you become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5.21). Knowing that the exceeding greatness of the power of the Most High is toward your life, you need not bow before any of the enemy’s threats. On the contrary, you can and should take up your position in Jesus.

We must never ever go back to sin; if we do, we will be making the biggest mistake of our lives. We are now the light of the world, the salt of the earth (Matthew 5.13-14), and everything that Jesus was. Our position is one of supremacy over the powers of hell. With the salvation that we have been given, we are no ordinary conquerors; instead we are more than conquerors. Therefore, we must watch and pray so that we do not fall into temptation (Matthew 26.41).

As the righteousness of God, being compelled by the Word to accomplish something for you or for somebody else, do it fearlessly. Whether you seek healing for a disease or remedy to a very tricky problem, do not hesitate in finding it. After all, those who believe in Jesus can do the same deeds that He did (John 14.12). Therefore, put the exceeding greatness of God to work and don’t turn back.

When we take up our position in Christ, we become a blessing of great relevance to all mankind. The Most High awaits for those who belong to Him to be positioned in faith in order to accomplish His work. When we believe what He has declared about us, then His power is activated to work in our lives. Those who belong to God are never afraid to obey Him.
