In hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.  Titus 1.2

There is a group of new Christians that have not yet noticed that the greatest purpose in believing in Jesus is the eternal life, where there is the power of healing, delivering, and fulfilling a person completely. The Savior declared that He came so that we would have abundant life (Jo 10.10). Thus, if the Christian does not take hold of this grace, he is wrong in all senses. God did not send His Son to take away from us what is good, but to add to what we were lacking.

However, going to Christ only to be healed, is getting a small portion of the enormity that we can have in Him. As we assume eternal life, we gain access to the marvelous divine power that operates healing and deliverance, and concedes prosperity. As we take hold of the salvation in Christ, we solve our greatest problem, which is the yoke of sin (Gl 5.1). After that, we receive the power to solve other difficulties as well. In Jesus, there is much more than what we need.

This is what the Gospel teaches. For centuries, the devil has managed to make the people of God change focus. Thus, instead of people being practitioners of the good Word, they become religious, imitators of the lost. Since they do not have the Light of Life, they spend their days in rituals, petitions, and worship, which come from their lips. Learn what your rights in Christ are and claim them. Then, you will be fully accomplished in the faith in Jesus.

The King of kings brought two gifts for humanity: the grace of God and the Truth (Jo 1.14). When you understood the Gospel, you were reached by grace and entered in the Kingdom of the Lord, where the heavenly operations never fail. Grace is the divine movement in humanity’s favor. With it, sins are forgiven, the sinner is reborn and receives power to face the adversities and be victorious. Thus, whoever is in Christ is more than a conqueror (Rm 8.37).

It is important to live in hope of eternal life (Cl 1.27). It is true that everyone who is born will never cease to exist. However, where they will be after death is the question that they must make. In Judgment, whoever is not a new creature, when he realizes he is together with those who will be sent to the lake of fire and sulfur, he will become desperate. Then, in that place, it will be of no use to pray and beg for a change in direction, for it is here and now when we make our eternal choice.

What is declared in the Scriptures is the Truth (Jo 17.17), therefore, do not let the evil one deceive you, making you believe that there will be another chance. Whoever does not straighten their eternal path now, when he dies, will discover that there will be no more opportunities to be saved. When someone listens to the Word, and the Holy Spirit speaks to his heart, at that moment, the decision that he makes will guide his destiny forever. It is sad for those who despise the opportunity of getting saved.

If you are not yet certain of where you will be for all eternity, you are not saved, since those who accepted Jesus have the Lord’s testimony in their interior. Be careful not to let your decision for later, and afterwards, discover that it is too late. The saved ones will always be besides the Lord, where they will never suffer pain, sadness or any evil.
