But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, to repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.

Psalm 10: 14

Those who have no fear of The Lord in their hearts whenever in need or when they see someone else go through hindrances will promptly condemn our Creator for such misfortunes – Not rarely we happen to get this kind of complaint from people of other denominations. The ungodly won’t even bother trying to find the reason why some people who call themselves children of God happen to go through suffering – that also happened to Job although the fact of he’s being an honest man who feared God is notorious (Job 1: 8).

The truth is that The Lord looks at the poor, the needy, those troubled by demons and He does acknowledge their suffering. Even in those nations where the light of The Gospel has not shined yet The Almighty does protect their citizens, He actually protects people in general and keeps them from the fatal assaults of the devil – otherwise, many would not exist any longer. Therefore we, The Church of God, have a duty to convey The Good News of those wonders our Heavenly Father can do on their behalf.

If The Church made the decision to fulfil their mission given by The Lord He’d surely deliver all those who are suffering in no time. Yet, some men and women have been covered up with ministerial authority but have not made reaching the lost their focus, their priority. Most of the people of God will not even pray in their favour and they will not even send any offerings – money or at least some evangelical leaflets out – to those who are in thick darkness.

As Christians we’re instruments of The Lord to make those who are forsaken to surrender to Him; nevertheless, men’s vanity, for instance, prevents us from volunteering in another ministry or in another denomination. Most Christians won’t even spend time praying for other churches’ work to prosper; on the contrary, deep in their hearts they wish for their doom. Now, that’s absurd considering that God – The One who can see people’s intentions – will one day punish those who have let themselves be lured by the devil.

The Lord is The Helper of those spiritual orphans who are under the heavy burden of the devil as they’re paying a high price for survival. As a matter of fact, nobody is willing to volunteer to convey The Good News to them; yet: woe to those who hid their talents to the ground because they’ll be cast out of the presence of The Most High (Matthew 25: 14 – 30). It’s time for most of the children of God to wake up for The Truth!

No one needs any massive amount of faith to make the hand of The Lord operate in favour of those who are in need. The lost are just like us; yet, for never having heard The Gospel they praise false gods instead. What attitude will you take regarding that matter? You won’t have any other opportunity to do good except at this very moment! So, how about getting hands-on now? Why not?
