But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten. Jeremiah 20.11

All the sons and daughters of God should have the serene and confident attitude of prophet Jeremiah. This is the right way to face any opposition of the enemy. If you have the Lord by your side, no diabolic plan will surprise you, for you will calmly and securely put the adversary on his place, which is beneath your feet (Sl 18.37,38). Even in adverse situations, such as the one that the prophet went through when he was put in the stocks (Jr 20.2,3), you will not be moved away from your privilege in Christ.

Those who know that the Lord – the invincible warrior – is with them don’t even think about alternatives. The goal of the Christian should always be complete victory. Even if the evil plan has been well prepared, if it is the most cunning plan from Satan, it is worth nothing – for the true Christian is firm in his position in Christ. It is written that no weapon formed against the heirs of the Lord will prevail against them (Is 54.17).

The secret is to place the Word of the Lord in your heart and hold tight to it. If you do so, your enemies – whether they are humans or demons – will not harm you, for before they get near you, they will see that the Almighty is around you like a Shield. Thus, the wicked plans will be frustrated, for they will fail. They can send messages, saying that your end is near and your defeat is certain, but they will all be lies.

Every time that Hell sends its servants to do you any evil and you resist them by the Word, there is chaos in Hell, for the plans of the evil one are completely frustrated. Then, since they do not understand well the reason why there were unable to harm you, complete confusion comes upon them. The secret is to be firm and unshaken on what the Lord has told you through the Scriptures. There is no plan or wisdom that can prevail against our God.

The same happens with people who try to harm you. Since they do not have the Spirit of God, they do not act prudently, so they fall into the traps that they themselves have set. Those who serve God are always successful in every situation. Therefore, never let go of what the Most High has spoken to you, for this is the way in which you are freed, preserved, and led. The Lord never deserts those who trust in His promises (1 Kg 6.13).

The confusion that reigns in the heart and mind of the perverse is perpetual. While someone is not converted and keeps walking in the ways of evil, he will be frustrated. Success only exists to those who are led by the Spirit of God. Unfortunately, there are many who are driven away by vanity, passions, and other wicked blows of the enemy. If you have been one of those, convert to Christ now!
