Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”  Luke 10:17

He who is in Christ is king over his own life and other things. This takes place with everyone, and although the devil tries to deviate the person from the truth, if the person has found it, she will take hold of it and become sovereign in all things that concern her. Why stumble in life, being embarrassed and hiding behind lies? The life of faith in Jesus is complete and gives victory to all those that embrace it. 

The Name of Jesus in your mouth makes of you more than a conqueror. He opens and closes doors, terminates the contaminating power of the devil, protects you from the attacks of the evil one and makes you act like the Lord himself when He was here on Earth. With Him, it is possible to take hold of your blessing and get away from the snares of the evil one. You need this Name to live freely. 

The person who obeys the orders of the Lord and fulfills the mission He gave, comes back full of joy. This always happened to those who believe in the Most High. But those who were in rebellion, realized that their actions were sheer stupidity. Now, man´s journey on Earth is very short. Therefore, it is sad to know that when he enters in eternity – and this will happen to everyone – the person who was stubborn will realize she chose the worst; this person could have succeeded here and prepared herself to win forever. 

The disciples, who were sent to accomplish the same works Jesus did, were impressed and rejoiced when they prayed and saw diseases, pains and oppressions go away from the people. The power available to the Savior is also available to those that execute the mission they were entrusted by the Lord. The same thing happens to those that obey the calling they received from God.  

Jesus had ordered them to heal the sick, but did not mention cast our demons. However, when crying out with faith, they noticed the manifestation of the evil spirits, who were cast out when rebuked. The followers of the Master came back to tell Him with great satisfaction, that in His Name, even the demons obeyed them. 

Many things will also surprise you if you fulfill the orders given by God. The power of the Father is perfect to solve any problem. Under divine direction, the evil actions in nature, like storms and other phenomena, will surely subject themselves to you. The Almighty has decided to use you to accomplish His purposes, therefore, do not reject your call and never give up using the authority there is in the Name of Jesus. 

Christians need to wake up to the fact that once they are sent by Christ to accomplish His will; they have at their disposal the same power carried out by Him during His days on Earth. This will happen to you when you submit yourself to the commandments of the Most High. Never leave for later nor pray without faith, for God has decided to use you.
