That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.  Romans 8.4

Jesus paid such a price so that we could be completely freed of the power of darkness. He did it all so that the righteousness of the Law would be fulfilled in us. The brethren in Christ that do not understand this commit many mistakes. A Christian should try to understand this verse, so that the devil does not operate his destructive work in his life. We must be truly victorious in everything.

The Bible is not a foolish book, written by silly people who are deceived by trickeries. The Scripture is the Creator’s Manual, which is about love and His interest in the well-being of His children. That is why during sixteen centuries He used around 40 people far away from one another to inform us about all these things. Some of these people did not even know what the other ones had written. His purpose is for us to be successful.

The greatest tragedy for humans is when they do not pay attention to what was written. As for Adam’s sin, nothing could have been done to avoid it, and we must all pay the bill. Humanity’s great mistake is not understanding its rights, in order to be freed from the first man’s insane act. However, if we do not know the Truth, we cannot be freed from the works of the evil one. Our mission should be to spread forth this knowledge.

Apostle Paul’s declaration is very profound. Everything that Jesus suffered was so that the righteousness of the Law would be fulfilled in us. This has already happened; therefore, the devil cannot maintain you captive, submitted to painful medical treatments, enslaved in famine, adultery, or any other sin. The children of God cannot let themselves be driven by any evil feeling, whether it is to practice something wrong or not to confess something evil they have done.

The Law was sick because of the flesh – man’s nature – which, according to Jesus, serves for no good thing (Jo 6.63). The Most High worked during millenniums until the fullness of times arrived. Then, He sent His Son to the world to die in our place. Brethren! This is very serious! It is in Christ’s death that we attain life, so we cannot accept any work of Satan in our lives.

Now, we must walk by the Spirit of God. Through His Word, He reveals truths that, when Jesus was here on Earth, due to the fact that we were not yet born again, we would not have been able to put into practice. However, the old stains of sin were undone, and the Land of Promise became ours. In it, there is everything we need to be fulfilled in life. Wake up now, because the devil, even though being defeated by Jesus, has been the master of many people who call themselves saved! Have mercy, Lord!

Slavery is over! We have been reborn in the divine family, filled by the same Spirit that filled Jesus. There is no condemnation in our account. Therefore, we can determine everything that we have learned in the Word, because it belongs to us. If you only do this in the Name of Jesus, He will make you truly victorious. Stand up and take hold of what is yours.
