22/06/2015 - HOW TO BE PRESERVED IN LIFE

And the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.  Deuteronomy 6:24

Every commandment of the Lord has a purpose. In the days the Israelites received Moses and the divine statutes – set of laws to be observed -, they were informed that these would be for their own good. From then on, they could respect the Most High, fearing His Holy Name. The Christians who are not interested in knowing what they are allowed or forbidden will not obey the Lord, and thus, will not succeed.

God thought of our well being when He commanded that we did not act in certain ways, that is why His laws must be loved and are worthy of our delight. When we understand the laws, the path is free for the Lord to work in our favor if we keep them. Those who do not have any obstacles in their life, when they cry out, they are soon answered. But those who do not respect the Word will not be answered.

We were transported from the kingdom of darkness, suffering, and all impurity to the Kingdom of Light, perfection, righteousness and holiness, where the Spirit of God Rules and guides His children. We cannot do what comes to our mind in this Kingdom, but yes, we must fulfill the statutes. Those who are slovenly, that have no pleasure in pleasing the Lord, live like wicked ones. However, people who struggle to please the Father live wonderfully.

The Word declares that our well being in life must be eternal, and it must begin when we listen to the Scriptures and it must end with the coming of Jesus, when we will be taken before the Most High. Those who fear God will not be left behind, but those who do their own will and sin will be destined to the coming wrath. In that Day, it will be useless to present your reasons to the Lord, for He will say that He never met you (Matthew 7:23).

When you obey the order of the commandments, which is to fear the Lord, you will not be defeated in your battles. The reward of the faithful will be eternal, for they will never hear again about temptations for they will live in a world of perfection, and from this place they will never leave. There will be not a single memory of all bad things that exist on Earth. Without a doubt, it is worth getting away from sin and from those that can cause you to sin.

Once you keep the divine precepts, you are kept safe in life, but those who choose impiety will suffer attacks from the enemy. The servants who remain firm in executing what God commands will experiment His favor for all eternity. This attitude is personal and will not be affected by someone’s negligence or subjecting. So be obedient and taste from God´s love.

People who don’t submit themselves to the Most High will see that they didn’t make the right choice, for they will realize they have been afflicted by evil forces, and after death, they will march towards eternal doom. Your behavior will determine what you will be for all eternity. Don’t leave for later your decision of keeping the commandments of the Lord.

In Christ, with love,

Lord, our Commander! Not a single one of Your commandments was given to us by chance. If we fulfill them, we will see that You were thinking of our well being. Thank You for prohibiting us to act in certain manners and for commanding us to do what is right. You are beautiful!

We want to do Your will, not ours. What matters is that we fulfill what You have given us as a mission, thus, we will respect You forever. When we obey You, we learn to fight with wisdom and we will not be defeated in the battles we fight against evil.

Then, our reward will be eternal, for we will be kept in life. Actually, when we see the reason why You gave us Your laws to fulfill them, we see that You did this for our own good. Lord! Help us seize all opportunities in serving You.
