Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24.3,4

This verse guides us on how to build our house, which is the temple of the Lord. The first orientation is that without wisdom our house will not be built properly. Second, we need understanding so that our house is established. Finally, we need knowledge, which will help us to fill the rooms with precious riches. If we do so, we will occupy our place in the spiritual world and will fulfill the mission that He gave us, which is to be a blessing.

James says that whoever has lack of wisdom should ask for it, and it will be given to him (Ja 1.5). I know that I am much in need of this virtue, for I recognize that it is not abundant in me. However, since I seek to build a strong and firm house against the shrewd traps of the enemy, I cannot ignore what the Word says. The revelation says that a house is built through wisdom. If there were any other way, it would have been revealed to us.

We need understanding to establish the house that was built. It is not enough just to build it; it needs to be consolidated. The way in which we manage such a thing is the same way as to obtain wisdom: raise our voices in prayer. Therefore, do it right now, with faith and determination, for the Lord would not say anything if He were not willing to give us. Your house must be built and established upon the Eternal Rock.

If you meditate on the Word, you will obtain knowledge, which is important for all the rooms of your interior, which will be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. The Lord withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly (Sl 84.11), those who act according to the Scriptures. With these gifts, you will not let any weapon formed against you by the devil to prosper (Is 54.17).

What God will give you to fill your storage rooms is of great benefit. As we know, the enemy walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Pe 5.8). Sometimes, Satan puts in our heart desires of adultery, prostitution, dishonesty, pride, vanity, etc. However, if the interior of your house is filled with precious and pleasant riches, you will be a blessing in all ways.

What God gives us is precious and satisfies. With these weapons, you will face any attack from hell and will defeat it. Even if the enemy tries his best to strike you, keep yourself firm and calm, for then you will be able to frustrate all of his perverse purposes. The divine gifts are pleasant. All people who fear the Lord are granted wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.
