29/12/2015 - HOW TO END A GOOD PRAYER

Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless the Lord your God.” So all the assembly blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed their heads and prostrated themselves before the Lord and the king.  1 Chronicles 29.20

A good prayer is made under the direction of the Most High through the Word, by faith, and in the Name of Jesus. After it is done, we can praise the Lord for the results. Now, if you do not pray to obtain the result, there is no reason to pray. The Bible declares that without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb 11.6), and this helps us understand that He does not like us to pray just for the sake of praying. David managed to have the divine operations in his favor because he kept the commandments.

The Lord cannot attend someone who does not give the proper importance to His words. His pleasure is always over he who fulfills His testimony. Thus, He can make His servant be as He planned. When a Christian does not attend his calling, the Father is saddened with him, for he will not be able to attend to his clamors any longer. Now, the Word is clear when it says that the Most High loves those who love Him (Prov 8.17).

God does not have an attitude of loving more someone than the other. The amount that you love will be the amount you will be loved. Before starting to build a tower, check if you have the conditions to finish it. It can even be the blessing that you most need, but if you are not certain that it will manage to survive the battle, why should you put the first stone? Do not let there be mockery about your unfinished work in the spiritual world.

Praying for no reason is something that can be seen as playing with God. This should never be done. Whoever does not have respect for the Name of the Lord, and uses it in vain, when one day he needs Him, he will not be helped. It is necessary to know what to want, and then, enter into prayer. It is like suing someone in court, which must get to a good term. David, for example, when he finished praying, was so certain of victory that he ordered everyone to praise God.

When some people cry out to God, it seems like a comedy. After they pray, they ask for continual intercession, as if the Lord were evil and would let them suffer if we would not pray for many hours. It would be good if all would be united in just one spirit, with the same faith, in order to obtain the same results; thus, our problems would be solved at the same moment. There is no biblical background for us not to receive answer after the prayer is made.

God does not need time to operate; however, he does not answer when we ask something with human arguments. The truth is that we will not win any battle if we do not believe in what the Father says, pray about it, and do the work wholeheartedly. Prayer is like a judicial action that we are never supposed to lose, for we have all rights over the operations of evil. When you fight, use what you have learned that is yours by right.

Even if a person may be in sin, he is in a better position than the devil. However, avoid putting your desires, thoughts, and teachings of men on the Lord’s altar, because if you put strange fire before Him it will bring more harm than good. The Word is the voice of God.

In Christ, with love,

God, the One who answers our prayers! How we can learn from Your servants from the past! Certainly, You have ordered to register their works so that they would serve as examples to those who want to please You. We must learn to pray in the right way.

After David prayed, he led the Israelites to praise You. Thus, the entire congregation spoke about what You are, what You do, and what You have promised to Your people. In that moment, they had Your assistance to say the truth and prophesy good times that they would experience in You.

May we do similar prayers, that touch Your heart and lead us to get closer to You. Therefore, we need to hear You, for our true praise comes from You and is returned back to You. Father! How can we please You, since You are perfect in all things? Help us, Lord!
