Then he sent Judah before him to Joseph, to point out before him the way to Goshen. And they came to the land of Goshen. Genesis 46:28

Although he was ageing, Jacob knew how to direct his family.  He would rule his house as long as he lived.  In truth one of the greatest deeds he was to do had not yet been exercised:  the blessings on his descendants.  Jacob’s sons were taught to respect him and although some had hurt him deeply, the patriarch would bless them according to the determinations of the Lord.  As servants of God, they respected their father, since Jacob also served the Most High.  What an example!

The saved should learn how to serve the Lord in order not to open themselves to the enemy or allow evil into their lives.  We have the authority over evil and everyone in our home, but we are also under the authority of those that the Almighty placed in His work to do His will.  We should never go against them, for they are the best that He has given us.  Love the Lord’s decisions!

Where the authority of God is not called upon and directed to administer His work, that house or mission will not stand.  Those that rise up against the directions that are called up by the Omnipotent are placing themselves as servants to the devil, thwarting or even destroying the divine purpose and plan for their lives and the lives of others.  Nobody can do anything for which they were not called up to do, mainly with regard to the work of the Most High, but those that are called can.

Before finding his son, who had been separated a long time from him, the patriarch sent Judah before the face of Josephs to be sent to Goshen, the land where they would live.  It was necessary to make ready everything for their arrival, so there would be no unforeseen details or anything lacking.  We have to plan better the church events and excursions to any location, for example, so that we may arrive in peace and succeed in our mission’s purpose and plan.

Following Jacob’s orders, everything would happen according to God’s plans.  If Judah refused to go or Joseph had other plans for them, the Almighty would not be in on that project.  Everything has to be done as was revealed; otherwise the results would be from the hand of men or from the devil’s which is definitely nothing to be desired.  Pay attention to the Almighty’s orders according to His will to achieve the success He desires.  The Lord always conducts us in triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14).  

Do not accept hints and suggestions from others in your ministry, but submit yourself to the Lord.  In this manner, the house He is building will not be divided and will successfully stand.  Understand your mission; carry it out with all your might, with all your heart, with all your soul.  There is more from God for you, when you prove that you respect Him and obey His instructions.  Those that cooperate with the Lord are successful in what they do for Him!

When we execute divine orders, we are a threat to the devil’s plans; on the other hand, when we refuse to heed the Most High we lay ourselves open to the enemy and consequently everything in our life becomes difficult.  Being a servant to the Omnipotent, you will walk in peace, prosperity and safety.  Those that serve well can be servants of God.  Halleluiah!
