28/04/2017 - IN ORDER NOT TO OBEY YOUR VOICE

Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. Daniel 9: 11

Israel chose the most frivolous excuse, the most unfortunate of all to not serve the Lord. The Most High had led the Israelites to freedom away from Egypt, from slavery under the Pharaoh, reason enough for them to love and to worship God above all. Since, however, God required sanctification, they chose to follow Baal, the God of filth and cruelty. Hence they broke the law of the Lord and even though they prospered greatly, they recognized it was not worth it. But when they opened their eyes they were already slaves to Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon.

Israel was taken captive due to hidden sins among the people and the Israelites did not want to confess them so that they would not renounce them. Likewise, many people today are controlled by evil spirits, scared and utterly defeated. Why not then return to the Almighty who is good, ready to forgive and undoubtedly will make this person into someone who will never know defeat? (Psalm 86:5)  Why continue down the wrong and evil path? Those that belong to God have only the good and of the best at their disposition.

Acting as if the Lord was blind and the devil had been converted, the people of Judah followed the rebellious from Samaria’s path and just like them, were led into bondage. Undoubtedly the Israelites would have known and learned more from the Most High, enjoyed good times and lived easier. But they were taken to Babylon where they found shame and suffering. All this came upon them because they transgressed the law of the Lord.

They who do not obey God’s voice are excluded from salvation and subject to the actions of the enemy. Even if punishment delays in arriving, the day of shame will come and then there will be no more excuses, justifications or crying that will save one. When the enemy receives order to interfere in one’ life, only God can know what he is able to do with that person. Never stray or be drawn away from the Lord and his laws. If you do, great suffering is certainly awaiting you.

A curse is like an oath of God; after all He warned that those given to sinning will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Consequently the wisest is to not be open to the devil for there is none who will be able to stop him when he starts on a plan to harm you. Flee from sin and owe nothing to Satan, so that he may never be able to oppress you. Remain in the presence of the Almighty who is abundantly ready to forgive.

Do not only obey Moses’ commandments, but also those written by all the men chosen by God to write all the books of the Bible. They were used by God to make us understand the Omnipotent plan for humanity, including the rewards for those that practice the good and the punishment for the transgressors. There will be wonderful times for those that love the Lord, unforgettable moments!  In view of all this, what will be your decision?

They that sin against the Lord have a high price to pay, as the transgressors will suffer eternally. What is worse is that the sinner never believes the condemnation is eternal – everlasting – will never end. Repent now, confess your errors and live that which God prepared for those He loves and who love Him.

In Christ, with Love,

God of the Oath!  Every time we ignore Your voice, we do so for frivolous reasons, for there is no excuse for our rebellion.  Your voice lifts us and frees us from our enemies. In so doing we become truly victorious and can give You the due praise.

Why did Israel cease listening to and heeding Your voice that is gentle, friendly, and protects us all from evil?  Undoubtedly, they listened to the devil of lies and sins and tasted the consequences that would reach all that erred.  Mercy!

We want to practice what is written in Your Holy Book so that we will not stumble or fall, in order that we may serve You with love and dedication. We do not want for our lives what is in store for the wicked to taste. Please help us!
