For I will not trust in my bow, Nor shall my sword save me. Psalm 44:6

Our spiritual warfare is real, and it cannot be fought with the power of the mind or by our cultural or religious knowledge. The Lord guides us in Scripture how we must act to overcome the evil attacks that we face. So, while we pay attention to what is taught, we must head for battle convinced of victory. Without the “weapons” sent by the Omniscient and Omnipotent God, there is no way anyone can win.

The weapons granted by our Father to us are the revelations given to us by listening to His Word. Those who only hear, and do not obey God, prevent themselves from having the “weapons” needed to defeat and stomp enemies that rise up against them. In the battles of faith, it is important not to let doubt or fear into your heart, because these feelings trap you.

As in the natural strife, for each situation, there should be a proper weapon. In a war, for example, the soldiers are prepared with rifles; others, heavier equipment to destroy tanks, planes etc. The doctors prescribe the right medication for each patient, and the farmer uses poison to exterminate the ants and caterpillars. We too, must also use the specific revelation of the Word to undo the evils.

All the “weapons” given to you by the Most High must be used by faith in the Name of Jesus, and the best way to use them is to rebuke the adversary with the orientation given by the Lord. Not always do you have to literally quote what is written, but in your heart, you have to be certain that the evil has gone away, because the Scriptures allow you to cast him out. Each revelation is a permission given to you so that you can act.

Do not treat the enemy with politeness or kindness, for he must be rebuked with strength. Don’t ever think that if you are strong in your determination, Satan will attack you harder. He already acts this way! Jesus said: The thief [the devil] comes only to steal, kill and destroy (Job 10.10a), so if you want to get rid of the evil bonds, be braver than him. Be fearless!

By taking this position, it does not mean you should curse the devil, because he will tempt you in this as well. His intention is to destabilize you so the Lord won’t work in your life; consequently, you will not make the difference. So do not quit, do not give adjectives to the devil or joke in your battle of faith. Act just like Jesus; He rebuked and demanded the devil to leave. The Master never lost a single battle and He also taught us to do the work of God!

When using the Name of the Lord, acting with faith, without doubting, but believing in the blessing achieved, you will not fail. Do not trust your own holiness or the lack of it to defeat you. Your struggle is of faith, therefore, you must have that assurance in God. If the Lord gave you this conviction, He has already forgiven you, cleansed you and prepared you for victory (Mark 2.5).

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! Here I am to fight the battle of deliverance of my dear reader. I join my faith to his and head for the fight, convinced of Your operation in him. You are with us and therefore,  I rebuke this evil and demand that it leave this person.

We were "armed" by You for this war and in the name of Jesus, victory is already ours. Therefore, in Your Name, I demand that all power of the enemy leave this life and never come back. Now, Father, my reader must believe and take hold of the winning posture because it is what You made him become in Jesus.

To the reader: "Call evil by name and send him away. So, stand up and consider yourself healed, delivered and restored. Faith in Jesus never fails!"
