Who gave Jacob for plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Was it not the LORD, He against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, Nor were they obedient to His law. Isaiah 42:24

When the people of God shuts their ears to the Truth and allows to be influenced by temptations, there is nothing else the Lord can do except to hand these people to the robbers. The moment you decide to do any evil work just to give in to a temptation that seems pleasurable to you, you are drawing away from the Lord and entering in a world of deceit. So then, anything bad can happen to you. If this has been the case, ask for forgiveness and don’t do it again. 

The devil is a thief that commands the evil empire in our planet. He is the chief of the demons that act according to his orders. The kingdom of wickedness is united in the purpose of killing, stealing and destroying (John 10.10). Roaring like a lion, it doesn’t stop walking around us (1 Peter 5:8). He is interested that you get dirty and that you don’t respect the divine precepts; thus, you will be in his wicked clutches. See how you have been serving the Lord God. 

Jacob, God´s people, who takes part in the Alliance that will never be broken, does not understand that it´s wrong practices causes the clauses of suffering to come into action. Now, the Lord is a faithful God and He cannot deny himself (2 Timothy 2:13). If you insist in the error, the day will come where He will give you to the robbers. Therefore, do not resist the Holy Spirit, who speaks through the Word, convincing you of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8). 

Sinning against the Almighty takes place when the person knows the commandments and does not follow them; thus, the person excludes herself from the holy protection. It is of no use to pray to be an exception, just to satisfy your vile appetite. Even if the Lord did not turn His back to you when you sinned, the enemy would plead his “right” to oppress you. The most insane attitude is to act opposite to what is written in the Word. 

Refusing to walk in the paths of God makes the person become blind, for only in them there is light. When walking in the paths of wickedness, you no longer can understand the Word of the Lord, and because of that you don’t receive divine grace, which will give you understanding and power in order not to submit yourself to the enemy´s tricks. Once you are far from the Almighty, you will have Satan by your side. This being will not be good company to you, but he will try to destroy you for good.  

Strive to be in the paths of God. Never give in to lies, to hatred and other things that come from the evil one. Don’t hold anything hidden in your heart, for everything that comes from it will lead you to destruction (Jeremiah 17:9). If you fall, you have the obligation to repent, in order to get rid of the enemy and come closer to the Father. Walk the paths of the Lord, which are nice, pleasant and add no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). 

Give ear to God´s law. Nothing was placed there by chance. A small light that is acquired by listening to the Lord is enough to show you the way out. Don’t be involved by anything wrong. Make the best decision of your life right now. After all, your deliverance depends solely on you.
