And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1 John 4.16

Inertia in spiritual life may be compared to a thief, for it steals the rights that every servant of God has in Christ. Therefore, he who is born in the Lord’s family must not only believe, but also seek to know the love that the Father has given him. In this way, he will see how much he can have and enjoy from the Almighty, who will honor every promise that He has made. Besides, such a person will abide in God, and God in him (1 Jo 4.12,13).

Christians that do nothing in regards to their faith in Jesus lose much. One of the secrets to be victorious is to put in your heart that which God has revealed through His Word. Not assuming what He says is like declaring that you do not recognize divine wisdom over your life. If you do not learn from your lessons and from what the Lord gives you, you will lose the great work that He has prepared in your favor.

The person that converts becomes a member of the Body of Christ, and thus, has rights and privileges that he should not despise. When the prodigal son came back home – even though he had taken a terrible decision of going out into the world claiming his rights – his father gave orders to dress him with new clothes (new revelations), to put a ring on his finger (symbol of family authority), and to put on new shoes on his feet. He was not accepted as a “second class” citizen, nor as “a nobody”, but as a royal member of the family.

Thus, with his new shoes on, he could step over the power of the enemy. The feast that the father of the prodigal son made at his return is a symbol of what happened during our conversion. For that reason, as member of the Body of the Lord, exert your right.

The truth is that the Most High will honor every promise that he has done, for His words will never pass away (Mk 13.31). He is looking at your decisions, in order to fulfill all his plans for you. Therefore, you should not be timid in vindicating all that the divine love has given you. The Bible declares that God is love, which means, in other words, that He is always acting in your favor.

Thus, every time that you fulfill the commandments of the Lord, you will see that He is by your side, working on His plans for you to be confirmed. He always confirms the words of His servants (Is 44.26). For that reason, rise now and make the love of God operate in your favor. Then, you will see that He is in you, and you, in Him. Do not escape from what the Almighty tells you to do, for as a true Father, He wants what is best for your life.
