Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. Deuteronomy 28:1

Christians must learn that salvation was not a patch, but instead, the most complete work that the perfect God has done after Creation itself. Because we accepted His Word and received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we were taken to the Kingdom of Heaven (Col. 1:13), and now we are sitting in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:6); we are exalted in a position of complete supremacy over the works of the devil.

This exaltation happened in the spiritual world, and the condition for us to participate of this new position is to listen to the voice of God with attention. When we give ears to what the Lord speaks to us – and He does that through what’s written in the Bible – we are able to hear what He wants from us. The difference, therefore, is to listen carefully to Him, because those who do that please the Almighty.

Each revelation that is delivered to us because we pay attention to His Word becomes a commandment to us. Thus when we receive a message from Heaven, we shouldn’t fear and pray to find out if it’s really His will for us, but instead, we should take hold of the revelation. This way, even if the purpose of the Lord seems to be far away from us, if He said it, it is ours to keep.

The verse above declares that every person called by God will be exalted amongst others in the mission that was trusted to him or her. Therefore do not let what has been said by the Lord disappear from your heart, because this message carries the necessary power to fulfill what was proclaimed. Those who listen to the voice of the Almighty one are already exalted above all others; when they determine a blessing, they will see the power of God honoring the divine Word.

On top of that, when we assume what is declared to us, we become a spiritual authority and we start having dominion upon all the powers of hell (Luke 10:19). Any work of the devil on our bodies, or on the body of someone who asks us for help, shall be destroyed; we should just believe in what was conceded to us. The path the Lord opens to us contains everything we need to be a blessing, as long as we follow the divine precepts.

The position of Christians is complete victory in Jesus. Just like He has never been defeated, you wont be defeated either. With the revelation of what is already yours, you should just allow yourself to be directed by the Holy Spirit, and He does it through the Word of God. Don’t fall into the trap of doing what you don’t have the authorization to do. From this moment on, begin serving the Lord and do not fear the threats of the enemy.
