Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.  Psalm 97.11

The understanding of who God is, of His plan and how to use His power is one of the greatest blessings man can receive. This also proves that you are a doer of the Word and not a blind religious person, who does not know where you want to go or what the Creator wants. The faith in Jesus is not something we will use in the future, when we arrive in Heaven, but, now, at all times, fulfilling God´s plan. 

Those who have light and walk in it don’t stumble in the day or at night. Although many do not see a way out or a solution to their problems, the one who is enlightened by the light of the Lord knows what to do in every situation. Those who don’t have the understanding from God are led to do things that are bad to good people, and make them lose a lot for not being used to give a pleasing solution to all. 

The understanding is given to those who follow the Bible and strive to follow the example of Jesus. The Christian has only one mission here on Earth: let himself be used by the Omnipotent to achieve His plan. However, they need to seek in the Scriptures the safe direction in order to know what God wants them to do. For example: if the preacher does not have a platform given by the Lord, he will not do the work correct in his ministry. 

Gladness is a basic ingredient to serve the Lord. On the other hand, even if a Christian struggles a lot to give his very best, and thus, please Him, even if they deprive themselves of the good things created by Him for their pleasure and well being, they will not be able to reach the intended target. Without prophecy – the revelation of the will of God – any person will be corrupted (Prov 29:18). However, if they know what His purpose is, than the believer will get it right. 

Those who give in to any malice see that they have been greatly harmed; that is why the enemy can do in them his terrible desires. This temptation has led many people to take shortcuts to reach the target pointed by God; however, this is sheer deception. The best is to be faithful to what you have been destined, for the Most High will recognize those who obey the order they received from His lips. 

There is nothing better than to have an upright heart. If necessary, it is worth to deny yourself some benefit that does not originate in the Truth, even if many people are enjoying it. The Lord doesn’t do things in any way and He doesn’t let Himself be mocked. Those who sow a seed that did not come from God will reap something that is not good. Only those that do His will are victorious. 

If you have light, you will not stumble in any of the obstacles placed in front of you by the evil one and, with gladness, you will assume what the Word says, for, when you obey the Lord´s direction, you will see that He already went ahead of you in order to give what He revealed you. Don’t stop seeking the divine plan and the power to accomplish it. Know that not only is it important to accomplish the will of the Lord, but also to do it as He wishes it to be done.
