And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever. 2 Chronicles 20.21

No one can consider themselves privileged, even though the Lord is using them in a special way. The Almighty places us in the Body of Christ as He pleases. However, no one should lose the opportunities that surround them for being part of the family of God, because great is the grace upon their life. By allowing yourself to be led by the Spirit, you become partners with Him in the redemption of humanity.

In counseling with the people, Jehoshaphat could understand what everyone felt about God. This makes a tremendous difference, for, since He speaks to everyone according to faith, probably many will have great revelations to give us. Never underestimate a brother in Christ. The Comforter considers him an important piece in the work and gives him useful revelations.

There was no doubt: the Most High was already ahead of them to show them His glory and lead them to victory. In the same way, He works in the midst of His people today. It´s impossible to disbelieve what He says or be carried away by the lies of the enemy. The adversary’s power to weaken you is false. Never worry about what he says. Just listen to the voice of the Most High.

They understood that they had to go forth to the battle praising the Almighty, who had assured them that the battle was His. Always seek the Lord until you feel that your struggle is in His hands; then, just praise God. Jehoshaphat commanded the singers to go ahead of the armies, because in this way, praising the Omnipotent, they would have Him with them. Instead of being filled with fear of Hell, praise Him until you are filled with faith and power.

The greatest and most perfect shield was before those who wielded weapons; after all, in praising God, they had Him as an Ally. Also do this; sing praises to the Lord – that make you understand the power of faith. You will only fall if you let the devil fill your heart with lies. All that you hear from God is yours!

The praise of the servants of the Most High was based on the declaration that the kindness (the good and eternal hope of the Almighty) gave them. Pay attention to His love for you as you hear the preaching of the Word. This will raise you up and prepare you to live on the heights (Habakkuk 3:19). Do not let the enemy assault or harm you. In Christ, every child of God is more than a conqueror; therefore, he will walk in righteousness.

The Lord’s turn in favor of the kingdom of Judah took place because Jehoshaphat understood the divine touch and turned back to seek the Strength of Israel. God can do the same for you, your family and all those who seek His face.
