who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, Hebrews 5: 7

I have commented on this example of Jesus, but today I want to study this precious treasure, which will give us the necessary understanding that will help us a lot. There is a reason why in many cases we do not put an end to suffering. Of course, this is due to the fact that we do not know how to proceed. Therefore, if something happens outside of God´s will, we must seek His direction in order to obtain the end we so much desire.

The Savior came as a man, and therefore He needed to act as such. Understanding that in His sacrifice He might be defiled with death – the nature of the devil – He not only offered prayers and supplications, but He did so with vehement cries and tears. The promise says that if we call unto the Lord, He will answer us (Jeremiah 33: 3). The Master’s attitude teaches us the right way to act, without thinking that God is obliged to fulfill our desires.

Christ made His great cry until He came to tears. Normally, we pray for minutes, we talk about what we need, and often we are not even in communion with God. To think that it is the Lord’s problem to hear us at any moment is to err completely. He promised to listen to us, but it will not happen if our sins are covering His face. We must fulfill the conditions to draw near to the Father!

It is clear that when praying, our spirit must be established in the promises of God. Now, it does not mean praying out loud, screaming, although, on some occasions, this can and should occur. The act of crying is a contrition of our heart (sometimes crying), being certain that we will be heard. Be careful not to imitate the actors, who cry professionally and in some cases even use lemon or other element to do so.

Jesus could not be defiled, and the only way was to beg the Father to offer His requests to Him. The Master’s actions serve as an example for our requests to be accepted. Often, Christians sense that they will fall into sin, but do nothing. Then the anguish, the pain and the sadness comes because they are separated from God. If you do not want to suffer, pray until you come to tears, and the Lord will hear you.

The Redeemer had to act this way; otherwise, it would not even be in the Life Handbook. Therefore, no excuse will be accepted for your failure. When you feel that situations are bad and there is a possibility of you transgressing or contracting a disease, offer yourself to the Lord with prayers and supplications. He is the only one able to deliver you from the clutches of Satan.

The good thing is that God wants to answer you always. Jesus knew that He had to be the undefiled Savior. Then, just like the Master, we need to be God’s servants without any blemish. We must make a great cry not to fall into the hands of the devil. Certainly we will also be heard. What will you do?

In Christ with love,

God, the only Lord! We are living in the flesh and, to avoid being contaminated with the nature of the devil, we also need to offer You prayers and supplications, because You can deliver us from death. Help us!

In giving deliverance to Your Son, You have shown that this is the method used to solve the most distressing problems. Therefore, we want Your help so we do not stumble or let the enemy dirty us. We need to be pure in order to see You!

Thank You for the revelation, because with it, we will please You in every decision. We have a mission to fulfill - carry out Your pleasant, good and perfect will. Your light can not be erased in our path, and it certainly won´t. Halleluiah!
