But a generous man devises generous things, and by generosity he shall stand. Isaiah 32.8

Those who fear the Lord are truly generous. Every generation has the privilege of receiving some generous people. They do not think of themselves, but on how to make the divine will prevail, eradicating sin, hunger, misery, and the sufferings caused by man’s separation from the Most High. There is nothing better than being an agent of God in midst of this chaotic world, where the prince of evil reigns fulfilling his own desires.

These people are not generous like the nobles in the Middle Ages, who received power from kings to help them to conduct the society of the time. Together with the clergy and the people, the nobles they composed a social class in the nations. Without true generosity, the world always becomes corrupt, in a way that what is wrong starts to be considered good and right. Then, with time, the consequence of surrendering to Satan is the worst possible.

Scriptures classify as generous people those who know and fulfill the Lord’s purpose. In fact, this should be an adjective given to all saved Christians, for they are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Mt 5.13,14). However, since they do not live as God planned, many Christians are leading others to become captive to the devil. Why wouldn’t they pray for them instead, if they know that the prayer of a righteous man avails much (Jm 5.16)? 

Those who declare that are serving God, but in their hearts allow the existence of filthy things, such as malicious desires and wicked things, lose the opportunity of being used by the Lord in a worthy manner. Do not be responsible for the increase in corruption that is destroying the society and families. Assume, in the Name of Jesus, the authority that has been entrusted to you and start making the difference.

If you live under the domination of a passion or covetousness – desiring other people’s goods and spouse –, you are exchanging the possibility of being a servant of God with the label of being the filth of the earth. Therefore, run to the Lord’s arms, and do not contribute with any of the enemy’s plans. Remember that in Christ, you are more than a conqueror.

Examine yourself and return to serve God, for He has called you to compose His elite team in the world: people who strive to fulfill His plans. Do not cause anyone harm, or else you will harm your own life. Those who bow before God’s majesty and power will always recognize that their attitude has saved them from the operations of the kingdom of darkness.

We need people who think, plan, and bring to existence things that build up. Those who decide to be generous and live in such a way always remain standing. This is your choice! The Most High did not create a class of lesser people, but has given all that was necessary so that His children might be like Him: enablers of His good works.
