Now when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance. My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.  2 Chronicles 12.7

The kind of answer that you give to the Lord when you are rebuked is what counts. If you become silent when you understand the divine message, you will commit a great mistake. Therefore, it is right to stop everything that God made you understand that is reprehensible, and confess your sins and ask Him for forgiveness. The Most High never speaks something without relevance, but it is always to warn us of an imminent danger. Those who do not humble themselves and stop practicing what is sinful will reap the fruit of their rebellion. 

The Lord chose His Word to speak to us. When He makes you understand what your evil procedure has been, He gives you the capacity to correct yourself. The best moment to take the sensible attitude is when you are convinced about your mistakes. After that, the Omnipotent will not consider you innocent any longer. If you do not get rid of everything that separates you from the Lord, there will be no excuses in the final Judgment. Do not despise the marvelous plan that He has for you!

The Most High does not resist when we truly humble ourselves in His presence. For this reason, in no hypothesis we can try to deceive Him, for He sees our hearts and knows even what we will think before we form anything in our minds. Therefore, it is better to be honest and confess everything that is going on with you. The moment that you do so, you will remember the situations that must also be revealed in order for you to receive forgiveness. Be certain that God always helps those who are truthful. 

When Rehoboam and Judah humbled themselves, the Lord changed His plan, postponing their judgment and giving them deliverance. Today, He will do the same to those who submit themselves to Him. At this moment, you are in the presence of the Most High. Therefore, make the decision that will free you from the ties of the enemy. In case you refuse, prepare to be possessed by the demons that you have served. Death and life are before you; your attitude will guide how you will live from now on.

The heavenly Father wants to pour His love, and not His wrath, over those who repent and decide to accomplish His will. This is the time to start a new walk. Have you concluded that the world of sin is useless and that your walk without Jesus is filled with obstacles and disappointments? Thus, assume what God tells you and start living as a valuable servant, someone who the Lord will never leave or abandon.

Get rid of sin before the enemy becomes your master. For if this happens, you will be in much suffering. However, if your Master is the Holy Spirit, you will see that it is much better to be taught by Him. Never wish the lesson of suffering from the devil, for besides the Master, the Comforter is your guide that will lead you to the ways of peace.

Do not forget that Jesus paid the price for your redemption, and therefore, it is enough to confess your sin and abandon it, so that times of refreshing might come from the Father. Those who accept the divine counsel will discover that, besides being easy, it is much better to learn without pain. With the Word of God, you will be successful in all that you do.
