There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.  Proverbs 19.21

The wish for revenge, deceitfulness, resentfulness, sensuality and their own will remains in the heart of many Christians because of the things that happen to them. The question is: have they truly found the Lord Jesus? This was not what Christ said to the gadarene who was no longer demon possessed, but Jesus told him to go to his friends and tell them of the great things Jesus had done for him (Mark 5:19). Will you obey the Master?

The desire for vengeance is natural; however, it does not come from the Lord. He says that we should not take revenge, but leave that for the Lord to do. The way God does vengeance for us is better, for, not only does it repair our loss, but we will also not have any pain whatsoever in our conscious for what will happen to those who humiliated us, betrayed us or harmed us. On the contrary, we even pray for such person so that they are not destroyed. 

Deceit takes part in all works of the enemy, and whoever makes use of it, even though they are strong, will not prevent from being possessed by the demon. You must repent so that the other spirits don’t make you become worse. Those who deceive, in other words, they cling to the devil and make him Lord of their life. Mercy! It is better to suffer anything whatsoever than to submit yourself to this wicked lord. 

One of the worst demons that exist is that of resentment. It likes to make the person who was betrayed feel devastated, humiliated and hurt. This person keeps on thinking day and night what happened to them, they are filled with self-pity, and afterwards, without noticing it, they receive a bunch of “comrades of resentment”. Thus, this person´s life is over, for they enter into a state of depression that absolutely nothing makes sense to them. 

One of the great evils of our times is the demon of sensuality. It has possessed the lives of millions of people – men and women, new and old, and unfortunately, even some ministers of the Gospel! Just like the angels who did not keep safe their habitation and were corrupted, they too also have their garments stained by sin. Those who do not sanctify themselves will prove of the second death (Rev 2:11), the eternal one.

Ultimately, the person´s own will has dominated most people. Now, if we are called to be servants, we must not allow ourselves to be led by the spirit of deceit, but we must remain firm in what the Lord has taught us. If there is something we must keep an eye on, keep it safe, it surely is our heart. For the one who is not accepted in Heaven will never come out of the place where there is eternal suffering. 

Despite all that I have written, I have good news for all of you: there might be many intentions in your heart, good or bad; however, if you trust in God, you will be able to rejoice, for the counsel of the Lord will stand. So, put together all wrong intentions and get rid of them once and for all.
