Whoever loves wisdom makes his father rejoice, but a companion of harlots wastes his wealth.  Proverbs 29.3

Loving wisdom is having it with you and using it always. Those who do so see their own hearts filled with joy. This state of grace, in which you surrender to the Lord, rejoicing for being in the divine presence, allows even the desires of your heart to be fulfilled (Ps 37.4). There is nothing better in the life of a Christian than being involved by the Lord – who is at the same time Omnipotent and God of love – and delight completely in the faith in Jesus.

Faith in the Most High is a great accomplishment. Before faith inhabits in a person’s interior, he is sorrowful and has many problems. However, afterwards, he becomes bold, firm, and powerful in his walk with the Lord when the certainty of expected things comes to the heart (Hb 11.1). This is everything we need in order to face the attacks from the forces of darkness. The life of the saved, however, has two phases: before and after receiving true faith.

There is no way God can be pleased in us if we do not have faith (Hb 11.6). It is the wisdom that makes us act in a way that the Lord is very much pleased in us. With faith, we think and act like the Master when He was here in the world. Faith allows us to make decisions that even we are surprised. Now those whose relationship with the Father is only through reason are still far from pleasing Him.

Therefore, it is an indispensable condition to have faith in order to please God. It is only possible to believe that the Lord really exists if you receive this marvelous gift, wich works as if it were an interior voice remembering you of this fact. God rewards all who seek Him, but only the people that have the “proof” of what they wait for – faith –, are able to truly believe that He is real and fulfills His promises.

The end of the verse talks about the one who walks with prostitutes. Undoubtedly, this verse talks about strange doctrines that appeared and appear in the work of God. They are prostituted by man’s thoughts and even demons. Whoever accepts them or does not fight them has a great loss in his life – wastes his farm. Now, when we are accepted in the Kingdom of God, we receive a complete blessing, which is compared to a farm.

If we remain in the pure faith of the Gospel, there will be nothing lacking to us. It is easy to remain in the divine plan, we only need to watch and pray so that we do not accept the adulteration that is revealed to us in Scriptures. The weakness of many people leads them to change situations or declarations that are established by our God. Therefore, examine everything and keep only what does not go against the Word of God (1 Ts 5.21).

The loss in this life will be great for those who dare to adulterate or accept someone’s prostituted doctrine (Gl 1.6-9). Be watchful, for the Most High will not consider you innocent if you act in such a way (Na 1.3). Whoever removes any word from the revelation will have his part removed from the eternal inheritance, and whoever adds up anything will see all the plagues in the Bible reaching his life (Rv 22.18,19).

In Christ, with love,

True God! Now we know that we have to love wisdom – the revelation of Scriptures. If we do so, we will make Your heart glad and will be attended even in our secret desires, the ones that nobody knows and that are hidden inside of us.

We can notice that You desire that we live in peace and prosperity, filled with pleasure and life, completely fulfilled. However, those who believe in other doctrines, careless about their origins, will do a great harm for themselves.

You have given us an inheritance for us to keep and enjoy. Why then, before Your words, does someone have the courage to believe or accept what is contrary to Your teachings? Free us from deceptions, mistakes, and lies. We want the Truth!
