Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” Exodus 15.23-24

The same way Moses searched for a tree shown to him by the Lord and cast it into the waters of Marah so that the waters could be drank by people, we too must search for a tree on the Holy Mountain – the Bible – and cast it into the Holy Fire – the gospel. If the waters you have been drinking are not those given by God to his children, ask him to show you the right Bible verse which will make the holy fire boil the Lord’s revelation.

Searching for the tree is a mission entrusted to us by God, and we must fulfill it with his help. Every time we find such a tree – the Lord’s guidance through his Word – we must cast it immediately into the bitter waters, which looks just like the sweet waters, but do not quench our thirst. It does not matter what your problem is; with the tree, you can simply transform the adverse situation.

The waters are the Word’s revelations, which have to boil within us as something impossible to satisfy, as an unquenchable thirst, or actually a thirst that can only be quenched with Living Waters, which is the Lord in his eternal form. Our desire for God’s promises to be fulfilled in our lives has to be a top priority. As a tree cast into our problems in God’s presence, the solution will come.

These waters will clean us from our imperfections, errors and sins, and we will be able to deliver ourselves from these “masters” who imprison us and prevent us from coming before the Almighty to attain a life with dignity. He who claims to have been delivered by Jesus needs to know that the sign that this is true is when the person no longer is dominated by evil thoughts, by sinful desires; rather, they are repulsed by sinful behavior.

Casting the tree into the waters is to allow God to work within us without restrictions, doing things that can be compared only with those described in the Holy Scriptures. Then we will see that we can do the same works Jesus did during his earthly ministry and, in some cases, even greater things. Our faith will not fail, since by having the tree in our hands the solution is already guaranteed. God will never fail to answer our prayers or turn his ears from us.

The Lord wants to make His name known to his enemies – the demons. This means that we will not have any restrictions during our peregrination, except for those things forbidden to us according to the Bible. The evil spirits, seeing the Almighty working on our behalf, answering our prayers and helping us in everything, will desperately flee from us, because obedience sets the holy fire into action. 

Satan and his demons do everything to prevent those who are saved from understanding God’s plan. This way, they can intervene and trick people into doing what they want, and they no longer pose any threats to the kingdom of darkness. However, if we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will enjoy the best of life and will give rightful praises to our heavenly Father.
