If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?  Luke 12.28

There is no mistake in regards to the measure of faith that God has given us. We worry too much about tomorrow, so we stop the Lord from supplying our needs. Jesus said that we had to be like children to enter the Kingdom of God (Mt 18.3). On the contrary, our despair blocks us from being fed and cared by Him. It is not only a matter of faith, but also of trust.

The Word is clear in affirming that God does not withhold any good for those who walk righteously (Ps 84.11), nor does he let restlessness enter their hearts. Now, if you are fulfilling the commandments, there is no reason why not to trust that your needs will be fulfilled. The Omnipotent will act so that the course of your life will happen as planned, even if the enemy wishes to reduce it. Obey the Lord, and He will do all things.

The promise was given to the disciples of Jesus, and today, all those who also fit in this group must only follow what the Master ordered, so that no one might take their crown (Rv 3.11). Because of his resentfulness, Satan works so that the Christian might despise the Word of God and perish. However, the Father’s care is complete for those who observe and fulfill His Word.

It does not matter where you are sent to serve Him. God clothes the lilies of the field with indescribable beauty, even though it is in the field today and tomorrow might not exist, He will take care of it all. Your only worry should be to do the Lord’s will, and stand as a servant before Him, and He will do much more for you than for the lilies of the field.

The disciple does not have to live in apprehension of what he will eat or wear, for the Lord is the Author of his calling and is committed to provide everything that His servants need, so that they might serve Him with dignity. The condition to become a disciple is simply to remain in the Word. Therefore, those who give up walking by faith show that they did not recognize the position given by God, did not trust the divine promises, and thus, exclude themselves from receiving the divine provision.

Pay attention to what the Lord said about the lilies of the field: He clothes them with an incomparable beauty, even greater than Solomon’s. This serves as an exhortation and a sign that if our needs are not being met, there is something wrong in us. After all, are we not worth much more than the lilies? Do not accept to live miserably, for even regarding your beauty God cares for you.

All of the Master’s disciples must analyze Scriptures, see what is promised to them and vindicate the blessings so that they might have a life without any need. The same way as the grass of the field extracts from the soil what it needs to survive, we must “extract” from the word whatever we need.

In Christ, with love,

Wonderful Father! As disciples, we fall in sin when we do not understand that we must live from Your Word. It does not matter the size of our faith, for what we need is to remain in You, for only in Your revelations we will find the power that you give for us to live abundantly.

It is evident that if we live without faith, letting the enemy “twist” the things that You tell us, we will not please You. We always seek to have a faith that is big enough for You to supply our needs, but in truth, what we should do is simply trust in You.

Thank You for the words of the Lord Jesus, which guarantee us that we are more valuable than the grass of the field. We will remain forever, and while we are on earth, we will have Your supply in all the areas of our lives.
