The spirit of the man becomes proud and doesn’t realize it is going to fall. And the decadence comes. The devil knows how to take people wherever he wants. He is always a deceiver. He does every effort to take a person away from the Lord, to conquer this person. If someone is in the presence of the Lord, he or she is a constant threat to the enemy. That is why he puts in action his false army. 

The same happens in the health area. Many people say they are never sick, but they don’t remember to praise God. Some people think the disease comes because of the wickedness. Well, there is no doubt the wicked poison their bodies with their attitudes. But this doesn’t happen to every person with health problems.

See how people are fool: everything goes well in the family and there is prosperity, health, peace and harmony. The family gets happily together to celebrate someone’s birthday, for instance. They have joy and say good words to the host, saying he has good health. He accepts the praise and shows gratitude. However the Lord, who really gave him this blessing, is forgotten. The devil, through this wickedness, touches this person.

We shouldn’t forget who really gives us good health, riches and keeps us away from temptations. The least we can do is to give praise to the Lord for what we have. However, when we don’t act like that, we are in debt. And because of this lack of sensibility, the divine power can’t prevent the enemy from attacking and harming us. The Bible teaches us to always be thankful, for this is God’s will (1 Ts 5.18).

It is not good to say that you have nothing to be thankful for, and that the Lord is not blessing you. The Holy Scripture teaches that every good and perfect gift is from above (Jam 1.17). Never go against our Father. At the same time, never be proud of anything you owe. Give all praise to the Lord. If you don’t, you may be touched by the Lord’s angel and die like Herod, eaten by worms. 

The truth is: if you are firm on the rock you will never be shaken. The Scriptures say that the tongue has the power of life and death (Pv 18.21). If you control yourself not saying anything against the Bible, you are wise and have God’s favor. People that speak about what they don’t understand will stumble in many things and go against the Word. Therefore, never say what the Lord doesn’t approve.

There is nothing bad in prosperity, since it comes from the Lord. There is no mix between what the Lord does and what the devil says. You must acknowledge that every perfect gift only comes from the Lord, all the time. Stay firm on what the Bible declares and don’t believe on the devil’s lies. If you become richer, don’t put your heart on it. Our Heavenly Father is the only one that is worthy to receive all praise.
