Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Philippians 4.6

Anxiety is something very dangerous for a human being to bear, for we were not made with a structure to uphold it. Thus, anxiety is capable of leading us to make bad decisions, which will make us suffer. We must never accept that anything guides us and forces us to do something. In fact, the Creator only allows that we may be guided by Him and by His Word. This work is made by the Holy Spirit, as one of the missions that He received from God the Father.

Do not let anything trouble you. Even the warnings that the Lord gives you should not take away your rest. Even if momentarily you might feel disturbed by something that He told you, attend quickly to what He told you. If you leave it for later, your anxiety will not allow you to understand the new instructions coming from the Most High. On the other hand, the Almighty would never reveal you something that was not completely good for your life.

Every person has desires that, according to what he thinks, will do great good for him.  But if something troubles you, follow the Biblical orientation and let it be known before God. Whoever is silent before something that disturbs his peace helps the enemy to violate all his being, and therefore, in little time there will be physical or mental problems. Some of these evils may even be fatal. Understand that whoever surrenders his needs to the Most High gets rid of them.

Your will is not always in conformity with God, so that is why our role is to tell the Lord everything that is going on in our hearts, whether it is good or bad. Since we do not know nothing about the spiritual world, except what the Word reveals, it is very likely that a lot that we think that comes from God does not actually come from Him. What comes from the Lord is gracious, brings joy to the heart, and therefore, is always according to the Scriptures.

Prayer is the right form for us to declare to the Father what we want. A supplication is made when we remember about something that we need, or to get rid of a certain worry. This prayer is based on the Scriptures. However, those who despise the divine counsel will never be heard. God cannot respond those who do not attend Him, for His principle is to honor those who honor Him (Jo 12.26).

We must give thanks for everything that we have received from God. Even if you are submerged in one of the worst phases of your life, do not stop thanking for the hope that the Gospel gives you. Undoubtedly, what bothers you does not come from the Most High, but from the enemy. Therefore, the enemy can only touch you if you are far away from the Truth. The Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven is your way out for any crisis or suffering.

Since we have the Holy Spirit in our lives, we are capable of defeating everything that rises to destroy us. Then, pay attention to what disturbs you and seek orientation in the Bible. What you understand as you read the Scriptures, or listen to a sermon, will be God’s direction for you. Whoever believes in the Lord will not lose any battle against evil.
