When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly. Psalm 75.2

Many things have already been taught about prayer, which is praiseworthy. Through prayer we expose our needs to our Father, we ask forgiveness for our faults, and we take hold of what belongs to us in Christ. However, if we do not pay attention to what the Word of God says, we will not be able to have faith to please the Lord. One of these orientations is that we need to occupy the place that has been set for us, so that we may judge uprightly.

However, how will we occupy our place, if we do not even know what that means? During all our lives, we have been taught to be faithful to the Most High, to flee from sin, and talk about God’s love. But the truth is that all of this sounds as something difficult to understand, since we do not know what it means. Thus, is the mistake in us or in our masters of the faith? Wouldn’t this be the reason for so many people not to seek the Lord?

Why was it so easy for Jesus to order the lame to walk, the deaf to hear, and the demons to leave? Certainly, because He knew His place in the Father. We are delighted with Heaven, our future home, but we forget that the devil is working in the lives of almost all the saved ones. Probably, you do not find even one saved person who does not have health problems, besides other sufferings. We must understand our place in Christ and occupy it.

Have you sought to know the will of God or have you spoken only half a dozen words, asking Him to reveal it to you? We must act like the gold miner, who seeks for precious stones on Earth, where there is possibility of finding them. Our land is the divine Word. In it, we will find the answers for our failures and impossibilities. When you sit on your true place, you become a blessing for yourself and for others.

Ephesians 2.6 says that we have been seated with Christ in the heavenly regions. The verb is in the past. Therefore, it means that an action has already happened. Now, we need to occupy this place, but how? Certainly, it will not happen if we do not seek, in the Scriptures, the Lord’ directions, and through prayer, His power. The saved ones have to understand that if they are not brave and vindicate what the Word says that belongs to them, nothing good will happen.

There is no doubt that the Lord is faithful in fulfilling His promises. But while we desire something to happen, the devil remains firm in his mission to make the believers incredulous. Thus, he can blind their understanding. Be bold to believe in everything that God says about you, not allowing the enemy to keep you out of Your place in Christ. Occupy it and you will be a blessing.

Let us stop the philosophy. Seek the Lord with all your faith, and according to what you discover about yourself and what you can achieve in Christ, do so! In time, you will see that your faith in Christ became something firm and strong, as it always has been; you just did not know about it. Jesus did not lie when He said that everything that you ask – determine, take hold of in His Name – He will do so. Assume your place in Him, and the Lord will rejoice in you.

In Christ, with love,

Lord of victories! How good it is to know Your will and that we have the authorization to ask, determine, and take possession of what Your Word promises us. In such a way, we will give You many joys and will reign in the position that you have given us in Christ.

Why despise Your Word and have serious problems in the Final Judgment? We cannot forget the great salvation that was accomplished in Calvary. We do not want to pass through anguish, but we can possess what You give us freely.

Thank You for this place of power that we have in You. Now, we will fulfill Your will with joy and boldness. We will give You the honor and the praise, but the blessings will be ours, and forever we will surrender to You our gratitude. Thank You for having loving us so much.
