21/02/2018 - ONE HEART AND ONE SOUL

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. Acts 4.32

It is crucial to obtain unity of faith and thought in the congregation, so that there may be peace among the brethren for the work of God to be done. Where there is divergence, there is lack of respect to the divine directions, for Christ established in His house His own authorities. He prepared and anointed them in order to lead His work. However, unfortunately, there are people who are led by evil advices. Mercy, Lord!

In the beginning of the Church, the fact that everyone thought and wished to do God’s will made the Gospel grow rapidly. Nowadays, this is still extremely necessary, for there are not two lords nor two Holy Spirits, but only one anointing and direction over the congregation. We cannot give attention to the satanic attempts that seek to destroy the work of God through people who call themselves servants of the Lord.

When Satan manages to drive one of his own to disturb a church, miracles cease to exist, and sins start showing up amongst the saved. Wherever leadership is weak, and does not live at the feet of the Most High, the enemy creates confusion and invents problems without a reason. Thus, all the Body of Christ suffers. Do not get together with those who promote division in the house of the Father, insinuating sins in the lives of leaders. Pray and ask for divine judgment.

The spiritual leaders should always live in consecration. Thus, whenever they noticed a heresy spreading among the saved, they would immediately enter in prayer so that the Omnipotent would put an end to that. If Moses and Aaron had not cried out in time, the rebellion of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram would have brought an enormous destruction to the church in the desert. The Lord intervened and acted in a way that they had never seen before.

Psalm 133 says that it is good and pleasant for brethren to dwell in unity, under the divine guidance. The psalmist compared this to the precious oil that ran down on the head and beard until the edge of the garments of Aaron, the first priest of God’s people. This oil must “run down” also on the leaders of the Church today, so that all may receive the enlightening of the Word and not let the evil one take over His work.

This is the unity that Jesus brings blessing; however, unfortunately, there are always some who rise up against those who are called by the Redeemer. These people influence the well-intentioned ones to abandon the congregation. They say they do not want to “condone with sin”, which in truth, is only in their lying lips. Korah, Dathan, and Abiram were so blind in their deception that they didn’t mind to rebel against their Creator.

The unity in the beginning of the Church and their fear towards the direction of the Omniscient made the work advance, leading millions to deliverance. Watch and pray so you never fall for the enemy’s deception and lead some to eternal punishment. Those who cause any kind of scandal in the work of God will pay a high price.

In Christ, with love,

Lord of the Church! It would be good if all around, the hearts and souls of believers were only one. This unity is necessary so that the enemy does not touch the weak, which still need to grow in order to endure the attacks from the kingdom of lies.

In unity, we will have Your precious oil being poured from top to bottom, just like it flowed until the edge of Aaron’s garments. With this anointing, Your children will receive power and light to do what pleases You. Do not let Your plan be weakened and Your actions stopped.

Look to those who are led by the evil one and act subtly to deceive some from Your presence. After they drive them away, they lead those people to commit many kinds of mistakes. May Your work be guided and kept by Your hands. We cry out for Your help.
