19/09/2017 - ONLY SPEAK WHAT GOD COMMANDS

You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land.   Exodus 7.2

The servant of the Lord cannot choose what to say; he must transmit the message of the Lord. When a Christian speaks his mind, he may commit a great mistake. After all, since the godly subjects are spiritual, and he lives in a material world, he may easily be deceived by the prince of darkness if he doesn’t understand the spiritual kingdom. Thus, besides hindering the divine plan, he may end up leading many to be lost forever.

Something important that we must pay attention is if we should turn public the revelations that the Lord speaks to us in secret. Even though we must speak what He tells us, it doesn’t mean we should always reveal things if we have not yet been authorized. Therefore, it is good to consult Him before doing so. Sometimes, God shows us something that will happen, but we should not spread it out so soon.

The Word declares that if we are wise, we will make glad the heart of the Father (Proverbs 27.11). Thus, ask Him for wisdom, because if He gives to everyone freely, how much more will He give to those who do His will? If we walk in communion, with prudence, and in complete obedience to God, others will want to be around us. However, we must never forget: our God is holy, so we must be holy.

There is no way sinners can be used by the Most High. But since the devil is behind every sin, he can even lead them to be successful. Thus, they will not stop doing evil, because they will think that in their case, God doesn’t care about their actions as long as they continue following God’s ordinances. This is pure deception, because no one who lives in sin will be accepted in the Kingdom. Seek to compare your attitudes with what the Bible requires of you.

We cannot invent or add anything to what we think is pertinent to the divine work. We also cannot eliminate any teaching from the Biblical revelation just to please some people. Our preaching and teaching must be according to the Word, and if others abandon us for it, we should not change the way we minister in order not to lose them. The servants of God must only speak His words.

As we hear from the Most High something serious, we must reveal it only with His authorization. If we become aware of something and do not warn whoever it is, or do not speak to the church about it, we will carry the person’s sin, and this should never happen. Jesus warned that it would be impossible that no scandals should come (Luke 17.1), but woe to those who bring them. It has never been so necessary to cling to the warning of the Master to watch and pray, in order for us not to fall into temptation.

The command was to let the saved ones depart, completely free, without holding them back, so that they would offer sacrifices of praise to the Lord. This will only happen to us when we say everything that the Father orders us. There are wonderful people that are dominated by sins, and need to listen to the Lord’s message. However, be careful not to bring harm to the salvation and happiness of these people.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Lord of the Word! We need to hear from Your what we need to know and reveal to the people, or to someone in particular. We want to be obedient so that we don’t say what we shouldn’t, but we cannot be silent when You order us to speak.

Why shouldn’t we attend Your orders, if they come from Your heart? We must not let our friendship with someone in sin prevent us from rebuking them, thus, causing them to lose themselves forever. May we have anointing to rebuke and heal!

Help us to live near You, to fulfill Your orders. We do not want to be separated from You; we need Your holiness to live next to You, fulfilling Your will. May Your blessed hand be upon us and may Your Spirit guide us in Truth. Halleluiah!
