Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish.

Psalm 146: 3, 4

Those who put their trust in great men and women who stand out in society to sort out the problems which are affecting them are making a huge mistake because The Lord is The Only One who can do it. Of course we cannot forget those people who are used as instruments of God to perform good deeds on our behalf but they must never be considered as the solution to our troubles. Those who are being helped by them should remember that that assistance is coming from God; if they think otherwise they’ll get none whenever they need it.

There’s only One Lord who – apart from being absolute and unique –doesn’t give somebody else His praise in His place. The Most High operates in all areas of our lives and we only need to ask Him to see His good deeds on our behalf. So, those people who are thankful to the instrument instead of The Master, The Doer, are committing a sin. You must know that sin separates men from The Creator by covering the face of God for Him not to see them.

No human can save anybody. No religion has the power to defeat evil powers; not even is Satan – who’s capable of causing people harm – is all powerful. The Most High is The Only One who can help us and sort out all of our problems. Our Father is not displaying a fit of jealousy when He instructs us not to trust in any strange source but He’s actually showing His love towards us because He doesn’t want us to work in vain.

We need to go to the books of the History of mankind to see that over the centuries nobody, no philosophy, no human doctrine, no religious rules or any other means have proved to be capable enough of putting an end to men’s suffering. All attempts have turned out to be useless or only minor alternatives. Yet, when men turned to God and prayed by putting their trust in The Word they found out that their plea was ultimately answered.

Many people take attitudes as though they were to live their lives eternally and they insist on disregarding the fact that their lives might have an end anytime. On account of some privileged people having had access to higher education – a quite good background – they tend to consider themselves better than others; yet, they forget that when their spirit of knowledge and counsel leaves them it turns out that their reasoning will ultimately perish. All secular knowledge will vanish at our death but the lessons we’ve learnt from The Word of God will remain in our soul perennially.

Men’s salvation is in Jesus – The Son of God – who came to deliver us from Adam’s downfall which separated us from our Father. The Lord is God, The One who created all things and He’s the only One who holds all knowledge which sets us free from all troubles or any suffering. The good news is that He made Himself available for those who believe in His Word.

Whatever the critical moment you or your family might be going through you must remember that God will certainly operate on your behalf provided you seek Him with all your heart, soul and strength. Yet, do not give room to any doubt or any treachery of the enemy. The Most High doesn’t give His glory to anybody (Isaiah 42: 8).
