26/02/2016 - PEACE WAS LACKING AND THERE WAS GREAT TURMOIL

And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands. 2 Chronicles 15:5

Difficult times were the days when Asa began to rule in Judah, for the previous kings did not give the due attention to the Word, and because of that, the nation was in error. If a country, a family or any other group of people don´t fear the Lord, they will have the same outcome the disobedient Israelites had. The preaching of the Gospel leads people to the Heavens and also causes them to have peace while here on Earth. 

A series of wrong attitudes gave the devil the “right” to act amongst the people of God, and thus, the works of hell were accomplished and no person had the authority to prevent them. Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13), however, if we allow ourselves to be taken by the spirit of seduction, in no time, we will no longer be able to do make a difference, and then, the most haunting things will happen right before our eyes. 

Those who left Judah found disturbance, and those who came in were also terrorized by the actions of the people who were guided by the demons. Similarly, this also takes place in our days, and amazingly, the people who were supposed to maintain peace are hoping for the situation not to get worse, for they already have lost their hope that there will be improvement. However, the real sons and daughters of God can put His power into action to make the difference. 

When the leaders don’t fear God, then everybody suffers. It is necessary to preach the Truth to all people, but we have to set the example. We cannot allow lies to prevail, the truth to be hidden and people be submitted to all kinds of humiliation. We need to have the power to make peace prevail, lead the lost to salvation and thus, deliver the oppressed from the demons of drugs, dishonesty and prostitution. 

The way the devil acts has been the same ever since he fooled Adam and Eve. He makes the person see no value whatsoever in other people, but, yes, he makes the person consider others as an object to be used and later discarded. The Gospel rescues people’s dignity; heals the diseases of the body and soul and brings peace to the hearts that are startled. We have in our hands the remedy that puts an end to suffering. However, it is necessary that we preach the Bible, and not our doctrine. 

If the Christians do not turn back to the Word and if they don’t seek the Lord in order to be filled of the Holy Spirit, and thus, give testimony of the Truth, the world will become worse. Those who cross their arms and do nothing become siblings of the destructor, but those who love God turn into role model for society. 

Each person converted makes the country a better place, for it is written in the Bible that blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord (Psalm 33:12). So, even if conversions are by millions, do not stop, for those who are born again need to learn to walk fittingly according to the Gospel of Christ.
