And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant. Exodus 14.31

It is of great importance that the servants of God use the power given by the Lord through the baptism with the Holy Spirit. This way, your relatives, friends, neighbors, coworkers and even strangers will be impressed in seeing the great divine hand of the Lord. Not using the authority that the Master has given to His disciples is to fail in every way. The Lord has clothed you with His anointing in order to be a conqueror.

People now-a-days are exactly like in the past. In those days, if Moses kept saying empty words, the Israelites would not have accepted him as a man sent from God. The Egyptians would also not have believed in his threats nor permitted the Hebrew slaves to leave to the land of freedom. But when they realized that the Almighty was not joking and that His power was real through the divine servant, they believed in the Lord and in Moses.

Those who do not use the authority that has been given to them are wrong in every way. They do not understand that the only thing that makes a person fear the Lord is the demonstration of His power. In the beginning of my ministry, apparently Brazil would become a house of spells. However, when people began to realize that the Name of Jesus frees those who are captive by evil spirits, many people achieved deliverance.

For many times I heard people say, “Oh! If I knew that in Jesus’ name we could undo the works of darkness, I would not have served the devil “. In no time, our meetings were overcrowded. This will be repeated today with everyone who fearlessly also takes their place in Jesus. I have worked in this ministry since the early 1970s, and my example has been followed by many people.

Fear – or lack of courage – to accomplish the Master’s order means that the devil has been operating in the person’s life. However, when a person reads the Bible or listens to the preaching of the Gospel, his heart fills with joy and courage! However, if you listen to what the devil tells you, the word will do nothing to deliver the lost and oppressed; consequently, the person and his family will suffer the devil’s attacks.

From the day that Jesus rose from the dead, the devil knows that he lost. Christ has in His hands the keys of death and hell (Rev. 1:18). So there is no reason to fear the threats of the enemy; after all, he is like a toothless dog, which – although growls and tries to bight whoever gets in his business–he can’t do anything. But those who trust in the Lord will become more powerful (Ps. 125.1) and therefore release the captives, living victoriously!
