You have tested my heart; you have visited me in the night; you have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. Psalm 17.3

King David understood what had to be done in order for him to be considered a servant of God. This should be the concern of all those who wish to be victorious in all things. The truth is that those who do not prepare themselves—do not listen to God’s Word— will never be able to enjoy God’s power, consequently will never receive the blessings that the Lord has in store for them. The life of he who does not prepare himself passes by as if God were not real.

When the son of Jesse understood that he could be great before the Lord, he was diligent to present himself approved to God as a worker (2Timothy 2.15). That is one of the greatest and best attitudes a person can have, and so can you. Now here comes a question: why not be successful, if it is possible? He who learns his rights in Christ will never be defeated in any battle. When you feel that the time of your visitation has come, take possession of that which has been revealed to you.

King David understood that the Most High was going to test him and when that actually happened, he was satisfied. Rest assured that the same thing will happen to you; therefore, prepare yourself for your trial and, when it comes, be diligent in order to pass the test. This way you will achieve a firm position before the Lord. Such position will confirm that you can achieve the great dream that God has for you. He wants to see you great before all challenges.

The Lord visited the psalmist in the night, when it seemed that temptations were going to defeat him. Be alert, because many times when you lay your head on your pillow at night that is when the enemy comes to tempt you. Then God allows you to endure this trial, so that you are tested and equipped for his wonderful works. If you manage not to get involved with the enemy, you will surely reach a higher spiritual level.

In fact, we are constantly being tested by Him who is perfect. However, we must not be afraid, because the word that is sent to us is all we need to pass the test. Those who pay attention to the messages received through the Word of God are always victorious. Be strong and strive to receive the certificate of good and faithful servant after your test. Then you will acquire even greater intrepidity, which will be very useful to you.

The Lord has already given us all necessary information about our position in Christ. If we take possession of it, we will never be defeated in our battles. There is no reason to be dismayed or afraid, nor should you think that you are not going to make it, because God knows how to guide those who are his children so that they come out victorious. Besides that, he who is in Christ will never be defeated. The devil cannot win over he who is steadfast in faith.

But be alert and watch carefully your thoughts and decisions so that out of your mouth never comes something that will hinder your victory during your battles. When you are undergoing a test, under God’s anointment, think and say to God that you will follow his guidance. Therefore, brethren, watch and do not change the Word of God, and put into practice whatever it is that the Lord has decided!

In Christ, with love,

Lord Almighty, to know that you will test us makes us tremble and shudder, because you are perfect, but we are afraid we will fail the test. However, we do know that you love us and you have given us your Word, so we are confident that we will not stumble, and we will not make you ashamed.

Your visits will take place at moments when we are least expecting them. However, Jesus said that we must remain watchful because we do not know when you will come. At the same time, we can rest assured that you will never come to defeat us, but to approve us.

May you not find in us anything that brings shame to you; rather, may you find your Word dwelling in our hearts and present in our lips. Help us think in whatever is good, positive and productive, so that we are not found as spiritual wrecks, but as your servants.
