He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough! Proverbs 28:19

We must understand that the Gospel is the true Land of Promise. With the Gospel we can live in a different way than other people. We are on our way to our redemption, when we will be besides Jesus forever. Therefore, we must learn what the Word says about us and what do we have to do to get rid of the enemy’s attacks. Then, we will always be victorious, as it is the Father’s will.

In order to discover what belongs to us, we must till our land – the understanding given by the Most High. Without understanding our role before God and the world, we will not know how to proceed when we need help. Those who do not till their land live as if there were no difference between them and the lost. However, Scriptures show that there is a distinction (Proverbs 10:16).

To till the land is to seek in Scriptures everything that God says, especially about His promises to His people. We cannot despise the divine orientations and live well. The Most High does not promise to carry us on His lap, but to answer our prayers. If you do not know that something has been promised to you, how will you have faith to claim for it? Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

When you plough the land, you discover what you must do to make the promises fulfill in your life. Then, with a simple prayer, done with faith in the Name of Jesus, you realize that God is faithful. The prayer of faith is a determination upon what you have been revealed. It is your stand against evil. If you do so, you will see that this is what you lacked in order for the Lord to answer you.

The Almighty does not promise to give you a small portion of food, but a generous quantity that will supply you with heavenly bread. With God, there is no crisis or scarcity, for He has already prepared an abundant life for all His children to enjoy. If you have struggled to live, know that this is not the divine will for you. On the contrary, He wants you to eat until you are full.

Unfortunately, in the work of the Master, there are also the idle ones, who do not want to have the task of tilling the land in order to obtain food. Thus, when necessity knocks at their door, they do not know what to do. Many people blame the Lord for not taking care of them when they have problems. If they had ploughed their land, they would see that the Father took care of them and also gave them much more than they needed. This makes a difference among the saved.

The choice is up to each one of us. A person may have abundant bread or be in poverty. It is better to be satiated with the first option. Respect what God says in His Word, for if you do not practice Scriptures, you will live in mist of shortage. Do not accept misery.

In Christ, with love,

God, our supplier! We want and need to till our land in order to obtain the best that You have prepared for us. We do not desire scarcity, because we must give good testimony of what You have done for humanity. Help us to live well!

It is much better to listen to You and be filled with bread. Thus, we will live in a different manner and will be an example to others. Enable us to listen to You and learn from You. Then, we will give You our praise.

Why should we follow the frivolous, if they only have poverty? We must follow You and offer You the true praise for who You are. Many will learn from You and will seek the abundant life brought by Jesus when they see us. Amen!
