23/04/2016 - POWER TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic,    Mark 2:10

The man that does not know the Lord only values what he sees, feels or thinks. For him, obtaining things from the world is more important than growing spiritually, which is of the utmost importance. However, this goes unnoticed by him. Now, one day, when he is in need, he will see that he did not act wisely or maybe he will awaken when it’s too late, realizing that nothing else can be done. 

When He spoke to the paralytic man that his sins had been forgiven, Jesus was telling him that the faith he had and that of his friends too had made him receive the most important blessing any human being can cherish – salvation. Whoever you are, try to get rid of your errors; otherwise, eternal perdition will be your home forever. In this new house, there will be eternal torment. 

The roles of the scribe was to copy the scrolls of the Law, but they did not understand anything from the Word of God; that is why they murmured that what the Master said was easy to do. So, the Lord taught that He was given power to do the most important work: deliver a person from sin. Set this as a goal, for without forgiveness your destiny will be perdition. Those who die in sin will not have an opportunity to repent. 

The healing of a paralytic is a wonderful miracle, but it’s not bigger than the declaration of the Lord according to which He gives eternal life to people. You can conquer everything from God, but if you don’t receive the new birth, you will never enter into His Kingdom, even if you spend all your life doing charity. Biblical exhortation on this subject is crucial for any person.  

Every Christian can be used to accomplish great works. See Elijah, a simple inhabitant of Gilead, who consecrated himself to God and was taken before Ahab to rebuke him. One of the greatest prophetic ministries was born because of that. Just like him, you too can be called to do outstanding things. Therefore, prepare yourself so that you don’t frustrate God´s plans, and thus accomplish what He planned for your happiness. 

Before all people that were in that house, Christ showed that God gives power to His servants for great works – forgive sins and save sinners – and, also making paralytics walk. However, none of the Most High’s works can be done by man’s will, but only by divine order. In whatever situation you happen to be ministering, remain in Spirit and only speak or do what the Lords directs you to do. 

You must understand: God can only use those who seek to come before Him approved as worker. Such preparation takes place every time the Word is preached, or when you are reading the Bible. Without guidance from the Most High, nothing can be done. Those who follow them are always right.
