You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, and you will pay your vows. Job 22.27

The verse clearly guides us that we should only pray to the Lord. For this reason, whoever prays for any other being, even if he might have served the Lord, is not addressing his petitions to God. Every act outside of the divine Word leads us to the arms of the enemy. Therefore, even though the person might strive to make the Most High glad, when he invokes another name that is not Jesus’ name, he will open the doors for the author of all suffering.

We must cry out with the revelation of the Word, and not simply pray. The Bible warns us that without faith we will not please Him (Hb 11.6). What is right is to pray according to what the Bible says. Therefore, if we have any doubts concerning what is promised in it, it is not wrong to ask them to the eternal Father.

There is not even one story in the Word that leads us to make our petitions to people that have served God in the past. For this reason, whoever has this practice is disrespecting the Biblical teaching and is being misled by the liar and deceiver: Satan. Those who say they are devout to any “saint” need urgently to observe the Sacred Scriptures, for only in it they will find the orientation on how they should proceed.

When we pray in the Name of Jesus, the Lord hears us. However, we must have faith, which is the certainty of the things we wait for (Hb 11.1), so that the lord might give us the answer that we need. The affirmation that He listens to us is already proof that our requests are attended. God is faithful to accomplish what He promised, but He will not operate if we pray without faith!

If there are sins hidden in our hearts, the Father does not hear us. This is confirmed in Psalm 66.18. Therefore, if you have committed any sin, go to God and confess your mistake, for the Biblical promise guarantees: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness(1 Jo 1.9).The sincere confession brings forgiveness.

When someone enters in prayer and asks the Lord for something, the Most High deals with him. However, if this person has done something wrong and repents, but feels that he can commit the same sin again and promises not to repeat it, he must take notice of his promise made to God, since He will not consider innocent he who does not fulfill his vows (Na 1.3). Whoever falls in the temptation of thinking that he can deceive the Almighty receives nothing from His hands.

If you make a vow to God, you must pay it, for He will demand its fulfillment. Only promise something that you really feel like doing it, for the vow is something very important. Our God does not “charge” for His services, but we cannot play around with Him.

In Christ, with love,

Most High God! Never allow our lips to do any request to another being, even to those who served You while they were in this world. The truth is that Your Word says that the dead know nothing. Therefore, do not let us fall in this type of sin.

We cannot be devout to other people, for our relationship is with You, and not with the enemy, who makes use of the spiritual ignorance of many people to drive them towards absurd or foolish decisions. Definitely, we will only pray to You.

We have no doubt that You hear us and will bless us if we pray in the right way. For this reason, may we always seek to know Your will so that we may come before You in order to ask and receive everything that You have promised us.
