Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord,  Isaiah 38:2

The Bible orients us that whenever the person feels weak, they must confess that they are strong (Joel 3:10). This causes a lot of difference in the life of those who have been convinced by the devil that they don’t have any authority to be delivered from a weakness – whether it’s a disease, or a strong temptation. See the story of king Hezekiah. When he was on his deathbed, he prayed to God, presenting his cause. He appealed to Him, when he spoke about something, and He did His part for Hezekiah to be supplied. Then, when you confess what He says, and believe it from deep within your heart, you will get rid of the evil work that dominates you or defeats you. 

The apostle Paul understood this principle and used it when he wrote the letter to the Philippians. In it, he said he could all things in the Lord, who strengthened him (Phi 4:13). If you keep thinking that you can or you can’t defeat the enemy, you are actually being fooled by him, for Jesus granted us the authority over the forces of darkness. Besides, when He commanded us to march, He came out to open our Red Sea, and this indicates that we will be successful. 

If God declared that something belongs to you, than that is a done deal. What you have to do is not to be deceived by the devil´s lies, but walk firmly in order to take hold of what belongs to you. Heaven and earth may pass away, but what He said will by no means pass away. (Mark 13:31). The right thing to do is to open your heart, like king Hezekiah did, and believe in the Lord so that He will manifest Himself in the splendor of His capacity; after all, He is your Strength (Psalm 27:1). 

Ignore the talk of the liar, for he does not want to see you occupy your place in Christ. Now, the fulfillment of any task given by the Lord depends only on your determination. Now, you don’t have to keep on repeating the prayer all the time to annul the works of the enemy, but you have to assume yourself in the Name of Jesus and ordain that the work be carried out like the Scriptures say. Those who believe do the work! 

We have the obligation to seek the confirmation of what has already been fulfilled for us. Now, all the things we need or will need have already been prepared; we just need to enjoy it, for it is about abundant life brought by Jesus. He took away our diseases, in order to enjoy of good health; He took away our sins, so that we could be holy, and He committed Himself to supply all our needs. 

Salvation involves all areas of your life. Adam´s fall gave the devil the gateway into the world for him to carry out his destructive work. If your problem is financial, believe in the fact that the Lord, according to His riches in glory, will surely meet all your needs by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If it is peace, then the Son of God left us His peace; if it is the victory over evil, then don’t be afraid of what was sent to you or of any threat, for the force ordered about you will make of you a conqueror. 

Everyone who was called to salvation, was born again and, because of that, they are now a new creation – after all, old things have passed away and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17) – and you cannot be defeated by the evil one. Believe in what the Most High says and thus, you will see Him working in your favor. Remember that no one will mock God, but they will reap what they have planted (Galatians 6:7).
