O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Psalm 108:1

Those who are careful enough to prepare their hearts will never be ashamed, because they will never lack the ability to be victorious in battle. There are a lot of people who don’t pay attention to this important detail the Lord teaches us. After all, to prepare ourselves to serve God, fight battles and overcome should be the main concern of all those who are saved.

A prepared heart is a firm heart, one that’s ready to fight. Those who are ready will not feel afraid before any kind of situation. The enemy may rise against the sons of God with all his might, but when they are convicted of their faith, they won’t fear. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever (Ps. 125:1). On the other hand, those who aren’t ready to serve the Lord fear before any situation.

The mistake of not following small commandments causes many people to become weak against the attacks from the malign one. Jesus told us that if we were faithful over a few things, He would make us ruler over a lot of things (Mt. 25:21). Those who learn how to use the power of God against the little attacks of the enemy, acquire wisdom to use the same authority against big problems. Therefore, do not be deceived by anything.

When we’re not ready, our heart is sad, and we can’t achieve victory. Nothing in our lives is fruit of magic. Those who aren’t wise enough to prepare themselves will not receive the necessary capability to overcome when they are challenged against some sort of evil. Therefore, be firm and follow the divine precepts and you will see how much God can do for you.

If your interior isn’t firm in Him, you won’t be able to sing to the Lord. When you sing, your soul is full of joy, and it gets ready for the visitation of the one who strengthens you for battle. Those who never praise God, nor sing His praises, can´t have their hearts prepared for battle. When we have a weak heart, we are ready to be defeated.

Prepare yourself to use your soul to praise God. When this happens, you are filled with the same power that was upon the biblical heroes and upon the Son of God himself. If it is possible to achieve the same power, why not reach the same places these victorious men reached? There are no differences between them and us.

According to the Word, the secret is to always be prepared. We don’t know when the thief will come (Lk. 12:39). But if we are ready, we will fight him at any moment with the necessary power, and his only alternative will be to run. Victorious people are the ones who are willing to face any kind of situation.

In Christ, with love,
