Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, with Your glory and Your majesty.  Psalm 45.3

The servants of the Lord must be brave warriors. There is no reason for those who are sent to the battlefield to be afraid, for perfect love drives away all fear (1 Jo 4.18). God would never send people without coating them with His power. Until this preparation happens, the saved one must remain in “Jerusalem”, and then, once he receives spiritual authority, he will fight with the certainty of victory.

There is no lack of capacitation for those whom the Father has called, sanctified, anointed and sent to do His will. The Almighty is complete and perfect in all His actions. Therefore, whoever receives an order to do something in favor of the Kingdom must ignore the lies of the enemy. You have received power to fulfill the divine plan. When we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, we receive the sign that we are ready.

Like the soldiers of the past, the brave warriors must gird their swords upon their thighs. The Word is the Sword of the Spirit, and nobody can fight in the Name of the Lord if they do not have the anointing and the confirmation that they are ready. Paul and Silas were already baptized in the Spirit when they were separated for the ministry, but when the time came for them to leave, God ordered that they should be separated (Ac 13.2).

When the brave warriors of the Most High leave for battle, they cannot forget the glory that they received when they were saved and sealed by the Counselor. If it were not necessary, the Lord would not have given it to us. In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the power from High came upon us. Without it we will have some battles that we will lose.

Christians have been made kings and queens for God. Thus, when they march for war, they must march with majesty, for they represent the Most High. How sad would we be if we saw our soldiers marching for a special mission with sad and scared faces, and with ragged clothes! However, we would be glad to see them happy and decided to serve their homeland.

Never let the enemy deceive you, saying that you cannot face him for any reason. He is a liar and he knows that the saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, is ready to represent the Lord. It is impossible that those who are called for spiritual battle do not receive the proper armor to announce the Word and to execute the work.

Pay attention: the Scriptures warn that if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small (Pv 24.10). Such orientations from the Lord are very important. Remember that the Most High considers those whom He has saved as brave warriors, anointed and sent to accomplish His work. Therefore never let fear or any other feeling take over your heart. Be firm, a prepared warrior!

In Christ, with love,

Lord, our Strength! We want to be Your warriors, for we have been prepared for such a reason. If we are guided by You, we will fulfill Your will boldly, and according to the strength of Your power. We will assume our calling and with Your anointing, we will accomplish the work.

With Your Word – the Sword of the Spirit – we will face the forces of evil in Your Name. We will not be misled by the enemy’s lies, for we know that You are a true God who goes ahead of us to accomplish whatever is necessary.

Thank You for the glory and majesty that You have given us so that the work is accomplished with dignity. We will come back with joy, for victory is certain. Thank You for calling us to compose Your victorious ministry.
