Talk no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is the God of knowledge; and by Him actions are weighed. 1 Samuel 2.3

There are words of self-love placed by God in our hearts. They are reassuring and help us to reject any proposal of a lesser life. In the measure of faith given to us by the Lord, it is not wrong to use these affirmations because they enhance our courage for us to conquer over negative situations. However, the mistake is in multiplying those words, because it elevates our pride to vanity, which is worth for nothing (Proverbs 16.18).

There are many who, because they are unaware of the Biblical instructions, are under the influence of the lies of the evil one and they extrapolate in their expression of self-esteem. And so the control that we all must have is lost and the person is put in an environment where he hurts others and sees that this brings him condemnation. Even though Hannah was a simple woman, the second wife of a farmer, she saw the danger and warns us through her song.

God uses whoever He wants, whether an educated person coming from a great university or a person who has never attended school. It is always important to pay close attention when a son of the Most High is speaking, because out of his mouth may come that which you need to avoid being used by the enemy. The advice left by Elkanah’s humbled wife brings the thought that made her receive God’s visitation to become the mother of Samuel, a great man of God.

If things are going well for you, praise the Lord and do not get carried away by the evil one; If things are going bad, however, turn to the Word and claim whatever the Lord is giving you. This will help you get rid of any unfortunate thing. The anointing that rests upon the Scriptures will strengthen you and show you the way; people will be amazed at you as they were with the barren Hannah, who became the mother of many children (1Samuel 2.5).

Watch out not to allow the devil to use you to hurt someone who has not attained the same blessing as you did and, because of that, to be found lacking. Those who fall short deserve our love and our practical faith, instead of despise or mockery. He who considers himself better than others, because of a God-given gift, is not serving Him. It is our responsibility to desire to others what we desire for ourselves (Mark 12.31).

There is no reason to allow yourself to be oppressed by evil if the Lord is a God of wisdom. If you lack wisdom, however, ask the Most High to be enlightened by Him and find your way out (James 1.5). Hannah understood she needed to pray wholeheartedly, but she was mistaken for a drunkard. She was almost kicked out of the house of God, but she got the blessing she was looking for. What will you do?

The Lord weighs our works in faithful scales. Therefore, beware not to be reproved. What you do with the revelation you have received is what God will accomplish in you. The time has come for you to join in God’s plan. Be strong and go out to battle. It does not matter how many times you have failed; your faith will cause you to enjoy the fruit of your doings (Jeremiah 17.10).

In Christ, with love,

Wise God! It is beautiful to see that Hannah, Elkanah's wife, learned to seek You and find You and, because of that, her story was changed and her faith has given us one of Your greatest servants, Samuel. May we too cooperate with Your plans.

In Your wisdom You have put in Your Word the instructions we need in order to be able to fight against the forces of darkness that are trying to embarrass us and make us suffer. Hannah understood that which no philosophy doctor had ever thought about, because she was enlightened by You.

May those who read these words learn to act in a way that is pleasing to You. May their lives be filled with Your light and may they walk away from their problems better than they could imagine they would. May Your glory shine upon them today and forever more. Thank you!
