Thus the man became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks, female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.  Genesis 30:43

Those that serve God are blessed wherever they go; however, they must expect to be persecuted, for the enemy will do all he can to take them away from the Lord´s plans. Never get influenced by the lies of the enemy, for the Omnipotent is always in control of the life of His children. He guarantees He will finish the good work He began in you; thus, don’t ever think of giving up or backing down. 

Even relatives are used to take away peace from us when all things go are going well. The children of Laban were just joy; however, when they saw that Jacob was enriching – although he had enriched Laban first – , they stood against him, showing even racial discrimination by calling him a foreigner. The same thing is expected from many people that are our friends at this moment, but, later, may turn against us with offenses or even physical assaults. 

Jacob always had to fight for his rights; still in his mother´s womb, he and his brother were already in a dispute. However, right then, before he was born, God already knew him; that is why, He trusted him to continue Abraham´s lineage, from where the Messiah would be born. We don’t know for certain why the Lord chose us, but we know we have to keep what we have – our faith in God -, so that no one will take away our amazing reward. 

When obeying the Most High´s orientation, he saw the angels of God come down and go up a stairway, and the Lord was on top of it. Your faith will also make the same spectacle happen, and then, you will discover that nothing happened without divine instruction. Just like on that day with Jacob, God will be at the top of the stairway in order to help you continue and get to the very end. When the Father is in command, nothing that hasn’t been programmed and decided in Heavens takes place. 

The trial which you go through is a signal that your blessing is too great. The Kingdom of Heaven is taken by force and only the violent take hold of it (Matthew 11:12). Therefore, stay alert, stand firm in your faith, and just like that stairway, you will reach Heaven. Some people get shaken with the bumps caused by the enemy, but, by believing in the Lord, there is no way the enemy can take us away from the road of success. 

Continue serving God at all times, and then, you will see that He never abandoned nor forsook you. Don’t give any attention to the “faces” of the devil that go your direction. He does that because when he looks at himself in the mirror, he sees that he is ugly and defeated as well, and because of that, he will never be successful against you. If the Lord is your Strength, who will overthrow you or win you in the battles? Victory is certain for those who believe. 

You stairs will turn into reality that which God says about you. So, put them on the right place – in the center of His will – and see all things go well for you. That which the Lord has said about you has already been given to you, and for it to come to your hands, you just have to believe and persevere until the very end.
