For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17

When writing the letter to the romans, Paul said that death reigned on the world until Moses. It must have been the hardest time for humanity, for the devil acted as sovereign on Earth. It wasn’t easy for Abraham not to be contaminated, but, since he was a man of faith, he kept himself pure, and because of that he heard God´s voice. The same way in today´s time, with so much publicity based on sensuality, only those who use of faith can remain pure. 

With the Law, man could be blessed if he fulfilled all items, which was almost impossible. Those who strived and managed to live according to the law reached the blessing. The law was good, but given the conditions in which men were – separated from God – it was all that could be done. For keeping the law, many pleased God, and therefore, managed to achieve spectacular works of the divine power. 

With the arrival of grace, brought by the Lord Jesus, along with the Truth, everything changed for mankind. This is what had to be done so that man could reign in life. However, the evil one managed over the centuries, to get men to obey him and also create a series of regulations so that people did not make use of the Lord´s power. However, with grace, it is up to each one to receive the measure the desire. 

See that the Word speaks of those who receive abundant grace. Jesus said that only those who ask receive (John 16:24); therefore, do not be limited when asking God neither when you receive. The Master declared that all that we ask in His name will be given to us (John 14:13). So then, ask to be given to you the capacity to receive abundant grace. Why wait to be happy in eternity, if this can also take place right here!

Believe that you have received abundant grace, and from then on, take hold of it, and understand that it is your responsibility in receiving what you ask for, for God does not fail in answering the requests made in the Name of Jesus. Do not waste what is given by the Almighty, for that is how you assume your position in Christ. Please note that a person who receives just a little of God´s grace will not reign in life, but only those who receive it in abundance. 

The Lord´s part concerning our being sovereign in all areas of life has already been fulfilled. Therefore, do not accept to live with less, if God is proposing to give you more. There is no need to cry, and pleading for something that already belongs to you. In Christ all things are yours. However, you will remain with nothing if you are lazy. With grace, you have more than you need. Therefore, be firm, fearless and audacious in claiming and taking hold of what is yours. 

The talents given must be used. You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” (1 Timothy 5:18). The laborers should be the first to enjoy their fruits. Determine that from now on, you will enjoy of everything that belongs to you because you are part of the New Alliance.
