I thought about my ways, And turned my feet to Your testimonies. Psalm 119: 5

Maybe you never learned what it is to fear God – to respect Him – or you might even have learned but you never took notice of the benefits of this profound obedience.  The ways of the Lord are not only fascinating, but full of blessings in every respect.  As one grows in faith, you share in all that the very rich Kingdom of God possesses.  So even though you are undergoing hard times remain faithful.

I have lectured on this theme everywhere I preach and I have seen people astonished with what they learn and receive after the prayer of faith.  Many of them seek me afterwards to say that they could never imagine that God was so good to the point of working so many wonders.  Even in the churches where faith is taught with diligence, as incredible as it may seem, a topic as significant as this is not preached as it should be. 

Possibly the psalmist was getting careless and in a short while began to act as a natural man.  However, experiencing some tribulation, he realized he had to reconsider his ways since his decisions were drawing him away from divine blessings.  Due to this separation he was no longer being attended toand consequently was no longer conquering.  So as not to fall into temptation, it is very important that the righteous regularly reconsider what they have thought, said and done.

On seeing the reason for the anxiety that entangled him, the psalmist made a sound decision: to return to the testimonies that the Lord had given him.  This way he experienced the freedom that is part of the plan of salvation for all who receive Christ.  If you attend services regularly you know that long before the trials are due, the Almighty, through the preachers will forewarn you of what is to come.  Remember what was said to you and turn to walking in freedom of life.

Alas, when somebody hears an explanation to a verse in the Bible or reads a verse in the scriptures, they understand what God declared through those words.  The moment this happens, the reader receives the testimony from the mouth of the Most High and must take upon themselves what was said to them.  If this happened to you, even if many years have gone by, the Word never grows old nor does it weaken.  So as soon as you remember the lesson claim it and you will be delivered on site.

The Omnipotent would not let you see beyond the veil if it were not to carry out a particular work in your life.  Take seriously all that is revealed to you and in a solemn attitude, with all your might, lay hold, claim it, for He never says anything needlessly but yes with the purpose of delivering you.  If at this very moment something comes to your heart that you have already heard from God, claim it, for the Lord revived the revelation for you to receive this blessing this very moment.

Turn your steps – your decisions – to the path of the Creator while there is still time.  On seeing the light powerfully shine before your face, claim the truth such as it is, and no matter how difficult the situation may seem, do not tremble nor recede even one millimeter (Hebrews 10: 38,39) Come, warrior of the Lord of the Armies, advance!  With your irrevocable resolve, make God happy!
