13/06/2014 - SERIOUS PROBLEMS FOR THE REBELS

Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. Deuteronomy 28.65

Many people don’t take eternal salvation seriously, but they should. Careless about keeping what the Bible says makes them people who will face bad moments. Imagine how a father feels when he says what such a person should do, but he/she does not even try to fulfill his commandments. By this rebelliousness, that person will not receive the favor of the Lord and will prove the wrath of the enemy.

According to God, what will happen to the careless or evil person is inevitable. The opponent knows that those who do not fulfill the divine commandments become an easy target to its evil arrows. To these people there is no rest because the spirit of confusion will take their lives and make a huge mess leading them into uncertainty. Definitely, it is not a good option not to fulfill the Lord’s commandments.

The situation gets even worst that this person cannot find a resting place for the sole of his/her feet, which means he/she will not know what to choose once he/she will always be look for the best for him/her and consequently will not see the day passing by. Nevertheless, when this person becomes aware of it, they will see that their rebelliousness has been a waste of time. If he/she had done what he/she was asked for, he/she would succeed earlier in life.

A heart that does not fulfill divine orders carefully is taken by a faltering spirit; so, even before something clearly good, this heart will fear to take any decision. Those who are powerless in face of taking decisions should realize they are in such situation because they are for not fulfilling divine commandments. The rebel is always loosing blessings. Now, the best thing anyone can do is turn to God!

The person who is careless on divine issues cannot see situations correctly. By loving this individual, the Lord sends him a good offer; but because he/she does not care about the revealed commandments, his/her sight becomes dull and instead of getting happy and taking possession of that, his/her eyes faint. For this person, he/she would never be offered anything good.

The word that raises believers and makes them rejoice for what they will get is the same one that makes the soul of the careless person to fade. This person never notices that it is the enemy that makes him/her see things contrary so that he/she says that they do not long for that, and there is no reason to try once he/she knows that they will never be happy. On the other hand, those who are zealous in fulfilling the commandments will take possession of everything that is granted to them.

Prayer

Father, nothing is better than rejoicing in your commandments because all doors are opened to us and through them we can get in e take possession of what we are offered freely by the Beloved. We take a rest while those who are rebels are being attacked.
When we come to a decision we have rest. Those who are careless with Your commandments get confused. But we will never fear, since because we love you our hearts are always steady and confident. Disturbance stays far from those who serve you with zeal and happiness.
What you reveal is truly for our satisfaction, but to those who hide themselves from Your calling, they become desperate.  Their eyes faint and their souls fade. Lord, how good  it is to know that you didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of self-discipline and complete trust. Thank you!
