Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin". John 8.34

Everyone that makes inquiries with the Lord always learns something useful. Since the lips of the Master only tells the truth, that is certainly the solution for our doubts. Like He says, His words are spirit and life (Job 6.63). They not only have life itself, but they are the answers to problems. The word brings what is necessary to defeat death. Therefore, when you hear God speak, listen.

Anyone, saved or not, that is committing a sin becomes servant of that sin. On the other hand, those who practice justice, becomes master at that subject. The person who practices iniquity may be used to cause you harm or to tempt you. However, those who practice the Word of God will be used to bring healing and deliverance.

Whoever sins, even if it’s something small, doesn’t know how bad he is doing for himself, because there will come a day when the devil will put his poison on him, and then the suffering will be great. Aside from that, sin opens doors for all the evil the devil wants to do in your life. Therefore, whoever has fallen needs to ask for forgiveness urgently.

The process of avoiding evil is listening to God’s word and repenting of all evil in your life. After that, he should find the person he offended, reveal his error and make amends. Afterwards, he should go before the Lord in sincere prayer and confess. Whoever subtracted something from someone, will not be forgiven unless he repents (Mathew 5.23-25).

Those who are tempted, but remain firm in the Lord, are not guilty of what they are being offered, however, if they obey he who is tempting them, they will be servants of the demon of that temptation. A huge change will come upon them about their convictions, because they will lose the repulsion for sin, and in many cases it may last forever. They will be blinded and walk through places where they´ve never been before.

Those who give into sin will not be forgiven on the last Day, like some think, because they despised divine invitation to repent and give into Christ. This attitude will seal your eternal condemnation. One day, when they open their eyes, they will see that they lost the opportunity to get married, create a family and be happy, because what is normal is no longer interesting. Poor lives thrown away!

According to the scriptures, people don’t accept the light of Jesus because they love darkness more (Job 3.19) and, with that, they receive death from the devil (Romans 6.23). Without a doubt, only the real Gospel, spoken with the power of the Holy Spirit, can wake these people from the slumber of sin. The Lord wants to wake them.
