that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Ephesians 2:12

With the fall, man lost his power to live in equity – treat all people justly -, and became wicked in his actions. Without the new birth and the understanding of the Word, no matter how hard man strives to do good, his greatest works of justice are just like filthy rags. The iniquity of his actions moves him further away from the Lord, and his sins cover God´s ears so that He will not listen to your prayers. 

Right until the moment they understand the Gospel and accept Jesus as Savior, the lives of those that are lost is very sad. Living without Christ their days are dark, their efforts to find peace and happiness cause them to feel miserable and suffering. They cannot live free from the wicked actions of the prince of darkness. The true conversion through complete and true repentance is the only way to get rid of the authority of the evil one.  

On the other hand, those that received Jesus and remain steadfast in faith, practicing the Word, are successful in what they do. It is evident that we must stay alert and pray in order not to fall into temptations. Many servants of the Most High go back to the world, falling once again in the clutches of the devil. The believer that is not vigilant, without a doubt, will go back to the pigpen of the devil. But those that walk with Jesus always win. 

The saved have become members of the Body of Christ and are no longer separated from the power of God, as long as they carry out the commands of the Master. No one should disregard the biblical prohibitions, for, if they do that, they will see they have disconnected themselves from the Most High and despised all His promises. Those that abandon the Way are living a life dominated by the demons, which tempted them and defeated them. 

We are not strangers to the Covenant of the Lord made with man in the blood of the Lamb, but we are owners by inheritance of what was promised to Abraham as well as the promises that are in the Scriptures. The new birth has restored and given us the right to walk with the Father because Christ has turned us into His children; thus, we are saved from the works of the wicked. In Jesus, the person who truly believes lives victoriously, but those that don’t believe only suffer. 

An important fact is that not only are we God´s hope for the fulfillment of His plan, but we also believe that everything that the Word declares belongs to us. To live in holiness is not an oppressive commandment, but a blessed experience because we are free from the spirits of sensuality and we truly discover what it means to love our neighbor and respect the wedding vows. It’s beautiful to walk with the Lord for we live with no condemnation. 

Now, we have the Most High next to us wherever we go and therefore, no evil shall befall us. As His servants, we have the solution to the evils that oppress us and other people. While there is still time, we must do good to all people, giving the example of what it is to serve the Heavenly Father. Never get involved with sin, for you were made king and priest to God (Revelation 5:10).
