I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. Exodus 6:7

The fact that we understand the Word has a special meaning for those of us who believe in Jesus and accept Him as the Savior. The power worked by Him during His days on Earth was based on this.  Today, this virtue is at our disposal for us to do the same works done by Him (John 14: 12). If we have the Son of God as Lord of our life, we will not stumble. Every Christian must be aware of this truth and confess it.

The Most High commanded Moses to tell the Israelites that he would take them out of the hands of Pharaoh to be His own people. This was symbolic. The saved need to meditate on this statement, being certain that the Almighty has redeemed them from the hands of the devil and made them His people, sheep of His shepherding. Believing that some evil will strike you, will make you sad, downcast, and hostage to the oppression of the infernal spirits of error.

There is nothing more blessed than to let the Spirit of God lead us to the green pastures and the still waters for the sake of His Name. This way, we can sit down at the table prepared by the Almighty in the presence of our enemies and have our heads anointed. Even if we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we do not fear evil, because He is with us (Psalm 23:1-5). None of Satan’s plans will prosper against us.

The Omniscient promises to be our God, the One who can do everything and does not spare power to keep us free from satanic attacks. The King of kings will surely be with us, in order to guard and strengthen us. Even if a lion or bear comes upon us, we will not be hit. The saints of God will always have access to Him. With Jesus as Savior, Lord, Protector and Master, they will walk every day in victory. To Him be the glory!

The heavenly Father wants us to know that He is our Lord, so He gives us the Name of His Son to use against the onslaughts of evil. Thus, our needs will be met in the blink of an eye. We must not fear the threats of the kingdom of darkness or anything bad that is affecting the lost, because the Lord is our God and with Him we destroy the evil tools.

If you know the greatness of having Christ as your Lord – and He is God with the Father – you will not let the enemy open his mouth twice. At the first affront, he will be paralyzed, and his works in your life and your family’s life will be undone. Then, like David, you will say, “Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear;

Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.” (Psalm 27:3). Faith in the Redeemer is your victory!

At the end of the promises to the Israelites, the Most High said that He would take them out of the yoke of the Egyptians. For us, He declares that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come to our dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Trust in the Lord and live fearlessly, because any suffering that the lost go through will not come near you. God is your Strength at all times (Psalm 28:7).
