If so be, ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 1 Peter 2:3

To state that the Lord is good because you heard somebody say so is correct, but not everything, because, undoubtedly, it is much better to experience this truth personally. Every day, during each trial, we must understand if the Almighty allowed something to happen to us that is for our good.  As we call upon His name, He will move and we will taste His goodness in helping us.

It is necessary to taste this goodness in order to approve, with sincerity, the fact that He is everything to you in this life and for all eternity.  Our faith in Christ is not blind but is something infinitely better than what the world or the enemy has to offer us. Whoever tastes the divine goodness will never forget. The Lord is everything that man needs.

How can anyone say that God is holy and that He lives in him if he has not yet tasted His goodness? Certainly this person lies because he has never experienced Truth. We are called to see that the Lord is a good healer and that he delivers, prospers, protects, provides and saves.  So when we meet anyone with a problem we will simply advise them with all our heart to seek the Almighty.

This should always be so; if we say that He heals we must say so in such a convincing manner that will leave no doubt to those who hear us. Why? Because He did heal us.  But if we are always in the waiting line at the doctor’s office how can we profess God’s power to heal us if we have prayed and not yet been healed.  Likewise, we must practice forgiveness, prosperities and all other blessings that are ours in the Bible.

The Bible declares that the Lord’s blessing enriches and this is true (Proverbs 10:22). However if you are in debt and financially oppressed even frustrated by not being able to buy basic necessities you are not living in a biblical manner.  If this is so, you will have great problems on the judgment day because you did not prepare yourself to serve God. Besides, the Christian’s defeat sends a terrible message to everyone.

Those who are lost observe us closely to see what it is that we can offer or give; we must be honest, prosperous and holy.  Nothing brings more sadness than to be sold a lie and this must never happen to the true Gospel believer. Try to seek from God the solutions to your problems and in so doing you will be a blessing to others.

God is good, in character, intentions and in His deeds. There is much more to Him than we have experienced or heard. But if you do not believe in the Bible, others will believe that the Gospel is false.  We must keep our responsibility to lead others to Truth as it is. Then we will see the most hardened sinners bow down to the Lord.

In Christ, with Love,

Wonderful Father!  What would be of this world if You were not a Friend of Goodness and Author of Mercies? It is just simply beautiful to know You this way and to live in Your holy and wonderful presence.  Thank You for loving us and teaching us to believe in You.

That Your love may never leave us for without it we will not love You or our neighbor.  The lost need our love and company to give them good direction and instruction which will guide them here and forever in the hereafter.

Make us good, loving and pious. Only Your love can direct us.  We want to be an extension of You on earth and then when Jesus returns we will not be confounded but will  be taken up to Your eternal good Home.
